Stayed 7 nights in Executive Deluxe double room. Staff and a manager were very kind and caring. The owners Brian and Beryl arranged a return taxi from/to airport, car hire for a duration of our stay and a dinner on our arrival. We've been feeling in the hotel like to be at home. We've received a lot of useful information and good advices. Excelent hotel. Highly recomend to stay in this hotel.

The property is on top of a hill. You wakeup to sunrise and the view of the ocean. Brian was exceptional. His hospitality was above expectation. I felt like I was at my nice uncle's villa.

Excelent!
With my wife and a my baby we tried for the first time a gesthouse and it was very good experience. Very good place, very good services and freindly owner. I recommand this place.

Just had a very relaxing two weeks at Glacis Heights. Brian could not have been more helpful with suggestions, tips and general help. The villas is situated five minutes walk from a two small cove beaches and most of the time these were like private beaches to ourselves. Take advantage of the hire cars here as they are the cheapest on the island and readily available, without the need to travel to another agent. We would have no hesitation in recommending this place to anyone.

Made us hugely welcome and gave us very informative introduction to the area as first time visitors. Brian was able to arrange airport transport and car hire at a competitive price and was much appreciated. We look forward to a return visit.

This guesthouse does not have WiFi and the self service apartment only had AC in half of the apartment. There is no Nespresso as the photos show, only Neacafé

Hello unfortunately at the time of your stay our WiFi was best in the guest common area (it is a common problem in Seychelles) however we have since changed provider and now have good WiFi in all rooms and the apartment ... as well as a telephone to make / receive local calls and receive international calls. Re the Nespresso machine ... we have them spread throughout the rooms and we should have mentioned that if you wish to have Nespresso we would place the machine in the apartment .... sorry about that ... suggestion if you find things deficient best to ask ... :) kind regards .... Great stay on the north west of Mahe
Beginning with our wonderful and affable owner/ hosts to the warm and friendly staff, to the carefully and beautifully designed guest house, everything about Glacis Heights Villa exceeded all expectations. The Villa has wonderful views and the rooms are comfortable, clean and we'll appointed. Breakfast was perfect and the materials used throughout the Villa are of the highest quality. Our hosts, Beryl and Brian made us feel like family and we're extremely helpful and thoughtful. We regretted having to leave the Seychelles and Glacis Heights Villa.

This is a small but expanding guest house with a great mix of warmth and professionalism. In case you are trying to find the guest house on your own (don't -- arrange for one of their excellent drivers to pick you up from the airport) , it is up a steep hill from the main coastal road, through a gate next to the Vimal market store. Although the hill is very steep, the climb only lasts two or three minutes so it is doable for anyone in reasonable shape. There are amazing views from the rooms and common areas: enjoy the fruit bats, the trees, the sea, and the view of Silhouette Island. The owners are really friendly and helpful -- they may even offer to drive you one way to dinner if you don't have a car. Breakfast on the big open air balcony is a treat. The common areas are attractive. There is a small pool, but better to walk down the hill to the small, almost private beach. Absolutely beautiful space, like a smaller, much less crowded version of the famous Anse Lazio on Praslin Island. There is decent snorkeling right off coast. There is a great restaurant up the road, about a 7 minute walk away or you can go into Beau Vallon for dinner and take a cab or bus back (last bus around 9 p.m.). To go into Victoria, you can take buses either direction as they go both ways around the Northern peninsula and Glacis is about halfway around. Not too hard to get around Mahe by bus. Only problem with Villa is : inconsistent WiFi. Please fix. Otherwise, wonderful! .

Hi thank you for taking the time for this comprehensive review ... we do have a lot of natural features around us but we also strive to do the right thing by our guests and make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Yes ... the WiFi used to drive us crazy and we were frustrated we didn't have a better service for our guests. However, albeit a bit late for your stay but perhaps for your return we now have have since changed provider and now have good WiFi in all rooms and the apartment ... as well as a telephone to make / receive local calls and receive international calls. Fint läge uppför en brant backe. Stränder inom gångavstånd + supermarket. Trevlig personal som lät oss ha rummet kvar då vi hade sen flygtid. Åt en mysig middag på hotellet.

Très bon séjour, Brian est serviable, ainsi que son employé. Déjeuner copieux mais toujours le même choix, il faudrait peut être varier les yaourts, le jus ou proposer des croissants, pain au chocolat. La pente pour monter à la résidence est très raide et difficile si vous êtes à pied. Il vaut mieux louer une voiture, Brian en loue ! Il y a des petits supermarchés à côté pour faire quelque courses, et quelques restaurants et takeaway pas loin. Il y a quand meme des arrêts de bus à proximité, de belles plages où on est quasi tout seul à proximité et la plage de Beau Vallon à 45 min à pied, ou 10 min en bus ou en auto stop. La vue sur l’océan est magnifique depuis le balcon. On peut manger sur place de délicieux plats de poissons mais le tarif est un peu cher. Néanmoins nous recommandons cet hébergement à tout couple étant en lune de miel, car c’est très calme.

Hello Jeremythank you for taking the time to provide feedback. Unless you enjoy taking buses it is good advice to have a hire car when on Mahe ... a lot more flexibility getting around. We feel we are well located with great views out to the ocean, a convenience shop at the bottom of our access road, a small beach directly in front of us (for snorkeling), Sunset Beach (10 minute walk and again good for snorkeling) and Beau Vallon Beach (one of only 2 long beaches on Mahe and well catered for with places to eat etc) about 4-5 minute drive. We have spent here 7 great days. Brian is very hospitable and always ready to help by any questions. Room was clean and had all necessary. For the breakfast we could order from the list what we prefer. Room-cleaning was every day, even on Sunday and public holiday. Once we did hire a car for exploring the island ourselves. Everything was perfect. The villa is located on a pretty high hill, about 10 minutes with a bus and 40 minutes walk from Beau Vallon Beach. We had very picturesque view from our room to the ocean and sunsets. Nearby there are two little beautiful beaches, wich can be used mostly on the low-tide. Also there is an Indian-shop at the villa. It was opened all days including Sunday and public holiday. We ordered a dinner by Brian. As we have chosen fish, he cooked for us very tasty tuna-steak with rise and dessert. We enjoyed our time on the Seychelles. Thank you Brian for this!

Sehr schöne kleine familiäre Unterkunft. Besonders positiv fand ich den Service. Mir war die Matratze zu hart, bereits am Nachmittag wurde nachgebessert und ein Kaltschaum-Topper von dem Personal auf die Matratze bezogen. Klasse !! Auch der Transfer von der Fähre und zum Flughafen hat Klasse funktioniert. Wir hatten eine eigene kleine Terrasse und es gibt einen Gemeinschaftspool. Der kleine Supermarkt am Eingang der (sehr steilen) Zufahrt ist praktisch. Ich würde hier sofort wieder Urlaub machen.

Bon Accueil.Magnifique vue sur mer et sur île Silhouette. Chambre exécutive spacieuse, propre. Belle petite plage accessible à pied. Arrêt de bus également à proximité. Montée très raide pour accéder à la villa. Accès Wifi très compliquée.

Agréable séjour
Une arrivée de nuit vers 2h00 en voiture, un peu difficile à trouver car panneau visible que dans un sens. Le propriétaire nous attendait et nous a accueilli avec gentillesse. Malgré un peu de difficulté à nous comprendre car je parle mal l’anglais , nous avons passé un excellent séjour, chambre très propre, vue mer et très bon petit-déjeuner. Très bonne expérience

Sehr schön, aber bergauf!
Wir waren 3 Nächte im Selfcatering App. Es ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet und bietet alles, was man braucht. Wir waren sehr zufrieden, auch wenn die Matratze etwas hart war. Wir haben uns auch die DZ angeguckt. Total schön!!! Alle haben AC und einen kleinen Kühlschrank. Wifi funktioniert nur im öffentlichen Bereich. Es gibt auch kleinen Pool mit Panorama Blick über das Meer. Sehr schön!! Ein absolutes Plus: die Vermieter Beryl und Brian. So lieb und hilfsbereit! Beryl spricht sehr gutes Deutsch! Und kocht auch abends, wenn gewünscht! Unterhalb der Unterkunft befindet sich eine kleine Bucht, wo man gut Schnorcheln kann (wir haben dort einen riesigen Kofferfisch gesehen)!! Siehe Foto. Waren dort einen Tag lang ganz allein, abends kamen ein paar Locals dazu. Beau Vallon ist auch gleich um die Ecke! Hinweis: der Blick ist natürlich wunderschön, hat aber seinen Preis. Denn es geht steil bergauf!! Wer nicht gut zu Fuß ist, bekommt hier echt Schwierigkeiten. Wir sind mit dem Mietwagen im ersten Gang hoch :) Trotzdem können wir diese Unterkunft total empfehlen!
