Very nice location on the beach but the beach is very busy with public access. Good facilities with gym, tennis restaurants etc. Nice bar. Sadly we found it dirty in places and the general areas were a bit úsed'. our room was nice but again not very clean( shower mouldy )_ Staff were good and helpful but let down by the state of things, we left early an were re-imbursed for nights not spent( although we were offered an upgrade it was not what we were looking for) plenty of other places to stay that were better, we stayed in two others for the duration of our stay and they were great.

We've stayed at the Story hotel around New Year tome for 5 days. Very comfortable rooms with cosy beds, spacious bathrooms and great balconies to enjoy the views of the ocean, swimming pool and the courtyard. Nice surrounding area of Beau Vallon Beach with restaurants and all sorts of stores

I enjoyed my stay at the Story. Rooms are well appointed, bed and pillows were amazing. Our room had issues with hot water - it worked for one day when i complained but the next day was back to luke warm. This is not a good thing. Pool is great. Beach area is small. Breakfast was good but limited if staying for more than a few days. Food in the restaurants is very expensive and we ate out each night. Finally i was disappointed with the policy of not refunding for lost nights. Our flight was delayed and we arrived 2 days later than our reservation. They would not give us a refund even though this was not our fault. There was no compensation offered and i find this quite annoying for a 5 star hotel. Check-in could have gone more smoothly.

The property was amazing. The food was pricey but for the convenience it provided it balanced out a bit. I would highly recommend this location. The pictures are an understatement, it's more beautiful in person!

STORY was the 5th of 5 hotels we stayed at on our Seychelles honeymoon. The grounds were beautiful and lush, the beach was easily accessible and the pools looked nice although we didn’t use them. Communication with the hotel was a challenge prior to arrival as they didn’t respond to any emails, and while their the WhatsApp messaging service - similarly non-responsive. Oddly the room was designed for 2 twin beds, but they pushed the 2 together to call it a King Room. The bathroom door was half opaque meaning that the top third the door was see-through which was an odd design. They were wonderfully accommodating to our dietary restrictions. They made gf pancakes on the spot for my husband, and had special vegan menus at Eden and Trader Vic’s. Get the Mai Tai at Trader Vic’s!! Overall a wonderful stay aside from those small things

OVERSPRICED
Hotel is OVERPRICED for what it offers, definitely not a 5 star, service average some staff are not friendly at all, they seems to doing a favor for you. Breakfast is the worst part, coffee is terrible, fruits are limited and tasteless.

The experience of staying at this resort was unique. From location, to staff attentiveness, to food options. This place has everything to offer for all requirements. The room was spacious with a big balcony. The choice of several restaurants with great food and good customer service. The option of laying by the pool or walking a few feet further to the beach, it hasgot it all.

I just returned from this lovely hotel. It was my first visit to the Seychelles and I purposely booked somewhere which is located on one of the best beaches and access to other restaurants Upon arrival from the UK we were offered our room quite quickly. Neige went through the details of the hotel and ensured we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The pool was just dreamy, always clean warm and amazing views of the beach on one side and the green mountains on the other The staff around the beach and pool were always happy and willing to help. Lallit was particularly helpful and took some great Picts of us at the beach at sunset - thank you! We visited Trader Vics - food was ok and a little pricey for the portions provided. Our favourite restaurant was Seyshima. There are only 4 members of staff running the entire restaurant - but my goodness what great team work. I was blown away. The food service and ambience was perfect every time we ate here. Aye & Tanya we’re particularly brilliant to say the least. They suggested great recommendations on what to order - they spoke highly of how well they are treated by the resort and that was really heart warming to hear. It was my birthday , the hotel provided a lovely cake and beautiful decor on my birthday which was greatly appreciated Thank you so much for a truly memorable stay

Paradise on earth! Gorgeous beach, resort has lush tropical vegetation and beautifully decorated rooms. The pool area is also gorgeous and lounge chairs are easy to find. The staff is super friendly. The only area that could use improvement is the food, especially the buffet. It is very expensive for the quality and choices offered. But apart from that, we had a fantastic stay!

Fantastic resort, with a lovely pool and nice beach. Good choice of restaurants. Friendly staff always willing to help. Service can be a bit slow at times. Very child friendly so if you’re looking for a quieter time in the restaurants and by the pool maybe book elsewhere.

Great resort and location
I stayed here with my wife in Jan 2023. First off, the weather was nice and sunny for the most part. The resort is on the beach, and the grounds are lovely. It feels very tropical. Beau Vallon beach is busy and the sea conditions vary from calm to lots of waves, which can be good fun. It’s about 15 minutes from the airport in a taxi (cost about €45) We had a suite on the ground floor. The room was spacious, the bed was huge and the shower and bath were great. We ate in all the restaurants. In hindsight staying for 10 days was maybe too long as we ran out of food options. The pool side bar (Ripples) is very expensive. 2 x club sandwiches, 2 x beers, 2 x cokes and a desert was nearly about €80! Overall the food quality was good. Freshly cooked and tasty. The staff are very friendly, always saying hello with a nice smile, but could be a little more attentive. They forgot my order, and are slow to serve, but it didn’t bother my too much. I wasn’t in a hurry :) I would have liked better entertainment in the evening. There wasn’t much on and after 11pm if felt like a graveyard. However some people might like a quiet night, so maybe this is a personal thing. Overall, I think this resort is up there with the best on Seychelles. It sits in the landscape with a lovely pool, good location and very friendly staff. Areas to improve are a little bit more professionalism, better prices for food, and a bit more on that entertainment front.

Nice hotel on the beach
Nice resort with friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast, nice pool, clean beach. The spa is also very nice. The restaurants were nice but the food was generally a bit bland (which seems to be the case across the board in Seychelles). Note that most of the seafood is flown in from Asia! It's expensive for what it is, but it is in line with other resorts in the area. The setting is beautiful and the sea is lovely!

Trip of a lifetime!
Beautiful hotel and facilities. Everything is clean and tidy and the restaurants are incredible. Buffet service in the morning and in the evening at dinner time always exceptional. All of the staff are friendly, happy and always willing to help you! They really do go the extra mile to ensure you have a pleasant stay. We got married during our stay at the Seychelles and the reception team did everything to ensure we felt special throughout our stay with little surprises in our room. Book this hotel, it’s the best on the main island!
