Der Aufenthalt war generell angenehm und erholsam. Das schöne Haus befindet sich in einem guten, sauberen Zustand und ist angemessen ausgestattet. Es könnte allerdings neue Fensterläden brauchen :) Der Pool und die grosse, gedeckte Terrasse sind natürlich während der Sommerhitze ein Highlight. Die Umgebung ist ruhig und die vielen Tiere, welche man täglich antrifft machen den Ort speziell. Das Haus ist ideal für Menschen, die Ruhe und Natur gerne mögen. Sean war sehr nett und bei Fragen immer schnell zu erreichen. Der Ferienort ist für die entsprechenden Gäste sehr empfehlenswert.

Localisation parfaite

Pour les amoureux de la Nature, de l'isolement et du calme, la situation est idéale, tout en restant à 5 minutes de Mahon. La propriété est spacieuse, belle piscine, grands salon et cuisine. En cas de souci technique (ça peut arriver), le point de contact mentionné en cas de problème réagit rapidement, c'est appréciable. Wifi et réseau téléphonique corrects pour l'endroit mais pas forcément dans toutes les pièces. Rien d'anormal, on est en pleine nature. En conclusion, belle adresse.

Perfect Getaway

The house and its surroundings are ideal to get out of the routine and de-stress. No visible direct neighbours and beautiful nature around to go jogging in the nature at sunrise, have a midday swim to cooldown and dinner while watching the local bird of prey looking for rabbits in the sky. great for families who are looking for a private place outside of those "holiday villages" with a unique touch.

DECEPCION

Hemos estado en este alojamiento a primeros de agosto y ha sido una gran decepción. En el anuncio indicaban que había wifi y televisión y no había nada de eso. Nos contaron que habrían robado, pero sonaba a excusa. Nos pusieron wifi al día siguiente pero la televisión nos dijeron que el dueño se negaba a ponerla. No sabemos si es verdad o no la historia del robo, pero la verdad es que la experiencia ha sido mala. El wifi que pusieron después no funcionaba y, como la zona donde estábamos no había cobertura, no podíamos ni usar internet de nuestro móvil. Íbamos con dos niños pequeños y se subían por las paredes por no poder ver ni la tele (que no existía) ni poder usar la tablet ni nada de nada. La casa en sí está bien, pero para ir con niños pequeños no la recomiendo porque tiene muchas escaleras y son peligrosas. La limpieza regular, ya que las sillas y varias zonas tenían telarañas o suciedad, y no era de hacía poco tiempo. La casa es bonita, la zona buena, pero la experiencia ha sido mala por todo lo que pasó. Una pena, no volveremos.

Excellente location sur Minorque

Merveilleuse immersion dans la nature sur un site très calme, localisation parfaite pour visiter Minorque , agrément de cette grande piscine où vous pouvez plonger dès votre réveil, avec un système de filtration la laissant toujours propre, installation électroménager satisfaisante, agréable terrasse avec une très belle vue, peu de moustiques et peu d'insectes désagréables ( vous pouvez prendre votre petit déjeuner en toute tranquillité..), décoration de charme avec néanmoins un caractère un peu vintage qui a déjà été évoqué sur d'autres avis. il s'agit néanmoins d'une location avec un excellent rapport qualité-prix.

Excellente location

Tres jolie location, bien située au calme au cœur du parc naturel Belle piscine, beau volume, bien équipée. Aurait juste besoin d'un rafraîchissement extérieur, ainsi que pour la chambre avec les lits superposés. Excellent séjour; je recommande!

Great location and lovely villa

The villa is lovely and big with a great pool and lots of space inside and out; being in the national park/nature reserve so close to the trails was excellent and Es Grau is nearby for a beach, more walking, kayaking and somewhere to eat and pick up odds and ends. The villa needs better maintenance though as the outside looks very scruffy; no umbrellas for shade by the pool (despite photos), just old broken ones lying around; inside wasn't brilliantly clean either which was a shame as it's a lovely place to stay.

Wonderful house in beautiful scenery

We (family of 3) really enjoyed our stay in this nice and spacious house. It is remarkably well equipped, and the pool is splendid. Also, it was exceptionally quiet (we stayed there in April), except for the nightingales :-) Always again.

Spacious villa in nature reserve, close to Mahon.

The villa is in a beautiful setting, in the Albufera nature reserve which is brilliant for bird watching and a walk in the countryside. Very quiet, silent even, except when jets go over as unfortunately it’s on the flight path from Mahon airport. However, planes are not particularly frequent. The pool is a decent size and depth and not overlooked at all, so ideal for those that like to consider swimming costumes optional! Some of the outdoors furnishings and decor were looking a bit ‘tired’, but we went in September at the end of what was probably a busy season. We loved sitting on the terrace, watching the birds and enjoying the dark night sky which was great for stargazing. Inside the kitchen is well equipped and the owners kindly left a few of the previous visitors surplus supplies, so we didn’t need to buy washing up liquid, coffee or cooking oil for example. Communication with owner/managers was excellent and would definitely recommend if you want a peaceful location less than ten minutes drive from the unspoilt beach at Es Grau.

Beautiful villa in a quiet and picturesque area

We really enjoyed our stay. The villa is very spacious and the sitting area and bedrooms are nicely decorated. We enjoyed playing in the pool every day and were treated to a visit from a tortoise in the garden. Es Grau is a wonderful area to stay, the beach, the village and natural park are all a highlight to any holiday in Menorca.

The villa was very nice

Booked a week here with our four grandchildren we picked the villa for its rural area so we would not have noise and traffic and we was not disappointed. We sat and watched the moon come over the big hill in front of the villa and gazed at the stars. The pool was big and wonderful. And I would like to say a BIG thank you to Sarah who looks after the villa we had a problem with a burst water pipe outside due to work ongoing with a new water main Sarah dealt with this matter very promptly and within 1/2 hour it was mended. On our last day one of our grandchildren fell ill with a ear infection and required a visit to the doctor I phoned Sarah to ask for directions to a doctor and was given directions by Sarah really helpful individual and a credit to todovillas

Wonderful villa, fantastic location, brilliant pool!

What a lovely place to stay! Lots of space if your travelling with kids, but doesn’t feel to big for a couple. Pool was perfect size and temperature, very refreshing on a hot afternoon! Kitchen is well equipped, and for uk travellers plenty of uk tv channels available for lazy evenings. For the nature lovers, lots of birds flying around, every lizard species on the island all living around the villa, beautiful views of the nature reserve, birdsong and frogs calling in the evening. Couple of pieces of advice, make sure when you buy food to buy enough. It’s a 10-15 minute drive to the nearest market, not too far but when your settling down for a night you don’t want to have to nip out for some snacks. Also, in the evening if the lights are on, shut the windows! Or the mozzies from the reserve will get in, but the air con works great so this isn’t really an issue. The owner was very helpful, we had a couple of queries before we travelled and while we were there and he responded very quickly with all the info we needed. All in all a great place for a holiday. We will definitely be coming back!

Perfect location for wildlife, the beach and pool

We stayed for a week - 2 families with toddlers, and the house was well equipped for family life. The pool was lovely, and Es Grau only a 5 minute drive away, which we visited most evenings. The surrounding wildlife really is wonderful and incredibly quiet considering it’s only a 15 minute drive from the airport. Sean was a great host and was incredibly helpful in making sure we had a restful holiday. We’ll be sure to return!

Lovely Villa in quiet nature park with fab pool

My husband, 7 yo daughter and I have just arrived back from a week in this beautiful peaceful Villa. The communication with Sean pre-holiday was great, he was very prompt, helpful and informative. We arrived very late due to a delayed flight - villa was easy to find, and found the fridge was stocked with milk, water, eggs, butter, bread, beers and wine which was a lovely touch. Comfy beds in air-conditioned rooms (no ac, but large fan in bunk bed room) Towels could be bigger!? Sarah, who manages the property was very helpful as the Wifi wasn't working (had my husband not needed to do some work while we were away this wouldn't have bothered us at all) We used the pool every day, it was clean and warm and big enough to have a proper swim. Cleaned once in the week. Couldn't get the TV to work - but thats no big deal! Had a BBQ every other night. Mahon is a 10 minute drive away - we used the supermarkets there and ate at a place in town Punt7 - which was delicious. Roads were so empty so driving was easy. We got bread and yummy pastries from the Es Grau supermarket which is 5 mins drive. We were so excited about the prospect of seeing a wild tortoise and we saw two, along with eagles, lizards, gecko's, so many lovely yellow butterflies, a peacock and her baby! loads of birds, rabbits and a hedgehog! We didn't explore the nature reserve really as it was so hot, but would love to come back at a different time of year to do so. We went to Cala Galdana for the day but it was too busy and it wasn't even the school holidays yet - I had previously been there 23 years ago and it had changed a lot. However, we LOVED Arenal de Son Saura beach at Son Parc - my daughter loved jumping in the waves on the sandbank, we went on a very windy day and the yellow flag was up and still had loads of fun jumping in the waves, although too windy for her to properly swim. Es Castell is lovely, you must go, we found this on our 6th day (wish we'd found it earlier) As our flight home was a late one (11.30pm) and we had to check out at 10am, Sarah was really helpful and found us a different villa to spend our last day which was amazing, and meant we could enjoy ourselves right up until the last minute. There is a mexican/burger/cocktail bar on the port front in Mahon called Paput where we had dinner before going to the airport - well worth a visit. Would love to come back.

Prefect holiday in the perfect location!

We have just returned from a fortnight holiday in this wonderful villa and would very happily return tomorrow if we could! Firstly, the owner's communication has been fantastic from start to finish. Very easy to communicate with, happy to answer any questions you may have and responds very quickly - given the fact that he is based in the far east, this is no mean feat! Equally, the literature that was sent out prior to our arrival and the materials at the villa were very detailed and informative. What can I say about the villa?! It is in a fantastic spot - literally 15 mins from Mahon, 5 minutes from Es Grau and in a beautiful nature reserve. We didn't hear the sound of other human beings until we left the park for at least the fist week! As you sit by the pool or on the veranda you are just staring out at trees and listening to the crickets singing to each other! It was bliss. The nature reserve itself is fantastic for short walks and bird watchers - our 4 year old loved it! The villa is very well equipped - we found that there was nothing that we had to manage without. It was well presented, comfortable and clean. The air conditioning was very effective and easy to use and we only needed it on just before bed even in a heat wave of 36 degree heat! The beds were comfy, always hot water and lots of DVDs, board games and books to borrow if you need to (not that we bothered but we noticed that they were there!) The pool is just fabulous - huge really for a villa rental. Surrounded by vegetation and with a large patio surrounding it. It was cleaned twice weekly and didn't need more than that because the pumps and filters were set up so that any leaves were quickly sucked up! It always looked pristine. It was lovely and warm and we all loved it. Plenty of sun loungers and chairs, plus 2 large umbrellas. Just perfect! The wildlife is fantastic - lizards galore, a tortoise down behind the pool steps, crickets the size of your hand that will happily jump onto your hand if you sit still enough. Just magical! There is wifi but we were very rarely able to connect - not that we cared about this one bit! and you get a good welcome package on arrival - eggs, bread, milk and wine. We used the big supermarkets on the outskirts of Mahon, but there is a little one in Es Grau for immediate needs. We loved heading into Mahon and Es Castell for lunch and then back to the Villa for tea on the veranda. We can recommend Trebol in Es Castlell in particular. We adored it!

Spacious Villa in Superb Surroundings

We spent a wonderful week here, serenaded by nightingales as we ate on the terrace! The villa was spacious, very well equipped and in an idyllic position. Very peaceful area, with pleasant walks on the doorstep. We all enjoyed the pool - which was cleaned twice weekly. Beaches are within easy reach and the supermarkets in Mao about 10 minutes drive. Communication with Sean beforehand always received a quick response and the information and directions received were excellent. We were delighted to be offered the opportunity to check out in mid afternoon as we had an early evening flight. We had a problem with the wi-fi - but this was quickly sorted. We highly recommend this villa - and would certainly stay there again! Thank you
