"We had a wonderful one-night stay! The property was beautiful, and the view of Lake Pepin was absolutely stunning. The condo was very clean and well maintained, and the bed was comfortable. There was some road noise from traffic, but that was understandable given the location. When we arrived, there was also a very strong smell of floor cleaner that was a bit overwhelming. We opened the back door and windows for a while to air the condo out, and that helped considerably. The right side of the bed was quite squeaky when moving around, and the showerhead could use an upgrade. Overall, though, these were minor issues, and for a one-night stay, the condo was perfect for my daughter and I. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying here again!"

"We had a wonderful stay! The host was excellent with communication, very responsive, timely, and helpful from booking throughout out stay. The property had plenty of space for our family of 10, allowing everyone to be comfortable and have room to spread out. The home was equipped with everything we needed and so much more! It was thoughtfully stocked with all of the necessities, which made our stay easy and enjoyable. We truly appreciated the attention to detail and the effort put into making guests feel at home. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property to families or larger groups looking for a comfortable, spacious, and well-equipped place to stay!"

"Amazing property on the water and walkable to downtown. We stayed here for our daughter’s wedding weekend. It had tons of space, very clean and plenty of towels, blankets, pillows and beds for the whole family. A huge family dining table with a view of the lake. A million dollar view of the lake with firepit in the front to enjoy the sun going down with a cocktail. The breeze from the lake made me want to sleep outside. Eagles everywhere you looked and the best part was the playground and splash pad right across the street that our 2 and 5 yr old granddaughters loved. Will definitely be back for next years family vacation!!"

"Wow—what an amazing place! We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay for our son’s wedding in Pepin. The Maiden Rock Retreat was perfect for our group and is a wonderful option for accommodating large groups or multiple families.Deb, the host, was fantastic! She was so accommodating and helpful throughout our entire stay. A few months before our visit, she gave us a tour of the property, which was incredibly helpful as we planned for the wedding and figured out how everything would work for our group. She was also very responsive to all of our questions and even let us borrow a ladder when we needed one. Her hospitality truly went above and beyond.So many family members commented on how wonderful the retreat was and how much they enjoyed staying there. It really gave everyone a comfortable place to relax, gather, and enjoy time together during such a special weekend.We also loved the location. Although Maiden Rock is a small town, but there are a few great restaurants and bakeries within walking distance. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food options nearby, which was especially convenient with a large group.If you’re planning a wedding in the Pepin area, traveling with multiple families, or simply looking for a wonderful place to gather with a larger group, we highly recommend the Maiden Rock Retreat.
