It is a lovely setting and the rooms are excellent. Breakfast was great and it was a beautiful start to the day to be sat with a great breakfast in our window looking over the gardens. Point for Expedia bookers: Two points to flag that weren’t obvious to me on Expedia when I booked. I chose this because it had a pool, and my disgusted love staying where there is a pool - but the pool costs €22 per adult to use in pre booked slots only, and children aren’t welcome in the pool. I understand now that is because it is a spa that non residents can also use - but when selecting a family room, and ‘has a pool’ as per Expedia’s settings, it was a disappointment to discover it hadn’t been made clearer on Expedia that pool use for my daughters wasn’t possible, and that the cost shown didn’t include pool usage for my wife and I. Not the owner’s fault but one for other visitors to be aware of.

The visit was during a period of extreme heat. Whilst the hotel is described as having air conditioning this is controlled by the owner. It was not switched on pre arrival and was switched off at around 11pm and no longer available through the night and following morning though still made noises. Customers should be able to make their own temperature choices

Eine der schönsten Unterkünfte in denen ich je war! Mein Mann und ich waren absolut beigeistert von diesem malerisch schönen Schloss. Die Zimmer sind riesig und die perfekt Mischung aus alt und neu. Ultra mega sauber. Das kleine Frühstück auf dem Zimmer mit wunderschönem Blick aus dem Fenster und frischem Brot, dass morgens vor die Tür gelegt wurde, ist ein absolutes Highlight. Leider waren wir zu kurz da, um den Spabereich zu nutzen, aber auch der sah absolut fantastisch aus. Ein absolutes MUSS unserer Meinung, wenn man in der Gegend ist.

La chanbre etait grande et propre mais le carrelage de la salle de bain et tres froid, ca manquait de chaussons. Idem pour le SP, tout est magnifique mais pied nu c est dangereux sur le carrelage mouillé la encore il manquait des chaussons.
