"The room was very spacious and clean. But it was strange that there was not a dresser with drawers. I guess you are going to live out of your suitcase if you stay there. There was a small closet, but that did not help with what to do with the smaller clothing items. Still, a very nice hotel and right across the street from the Newberry Opera House."

"A Beautiful Lakeside Retreat on Lake Murray!What a gem! This spacious retreat on Lake Murray was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The setting was absolutely picturesque, with beautifully landscaped grounds that added to its charm.The open living room and kitchen area was incredibly cozy and inviting—perfect for kicking back after a day of exploring the lake. The bedroom loft was wonderfully roomy and comfortable, with a lovely balcony to enjoy. There was plenty of space to spread out, including a downstairs recreation room.The location was another plus, with great restaurants and bars just a short drive away (Do'Littles Watering Hole just a short kayak ride away!!!). And the host? An absolute sweetheart! Warm, welcoming, and a pleasure to communicate with.A wonderful combination of comfort, charm, and location. We'd happily stay here again!"

"The price is right, but you get what you pay for; two floors with no elevator, outside entry door, inadequate lighting, skimpy on the bath towels, and no smoking rooms smell like smoke. However, the water pressure is good, the HVAC works, the staff is pleasant and helpful, and the complimentary breakfast is sufficient."

"My husband and I spent a wonderful week at this Couple’s Retreat Property, celebrating our 40th anniversary!We plan to Book again!We had a spectacular time watching the sunrise over the lake during the morningsand watching the moon rise while sitting in the hot tub!! The location is perfect and super quiet. We loved our time on the lake with the paddle boards and kayaks which were provided with this Rental.:)This place is clean, private, quiet, romantic comfortable and will afford you GREAT views of the lake! You won’t regret booking your romantic vacation HERE! Our check-in was easy and communication with our hosts couldn’t have been better!"
