"Lynda's accomodation is designed for both form and function. There's enough seating area outside for every type of weather. When it's sunny you can sit in front of the house or lie in the grass, when there's rain you can huddle inside or sit under the canopy. "This is a very good place to stay. I had a twin rooom ensuite with television. There is a communal kitchen/dinner. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is a Greek Cafe/Restaurant on site. There is free parking and everything in the town is within walking distance."

"I had never stayed in a room above a Public House but I was amazed just how good the Staff made me feel. I was escorted to a lovely clean room with excellent facilities. I soon realised that the owners took personal control of guest relations when I requested extra warm bedding, it was delivered to my room by one of the co-owners, in person! This level of attention to detail continued throughout my stay and nothing was too much trouble. The food served on the premises was cooked to a high standard and I enjoyed all selections that I ate. I also provided constructive feedback when I felt one particular dish would have been better served on a plate instead of a wooden platter. A minor detail when considered amongst the warmth extended to residents and non residents alike. I am sure that I will return to The Salwey Arms next year, if still under the same management Team. Thank you for everything. "

"My room was absolutely lovely. A very cosy single with a comfy bed, great radio and TV, tea and coffee facilities and a brilliant shower and bathroom. It was all fantastically clean and I was very impressed. Also all the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Finally, although I don't eat much at breakfast, the scrambled eggs and tomato was delicious. I wish I could have gone of the Welsh breakfast! "
