Hotel is clean and in an amazing location. Rooms spacious. Building history and restaurant on site is fabulous. The hotel staff friendly but a little stiff.

Pleasant stay
This hotel is a wonderful find. The staff is top-notch and very helpful. The room was clean and oh so comfortable. Even though it's in front of a major transport hub, the room was quiet and we slept quite well. Restaurant has delicious food and served an excellent breakfast buffet. Parking was tricky, you do have to walk a block or two so be sure to drop off your bags in the lobby before you go to the parking garage. Grocery store is right there, too. We would definitely stay here again.

Good hotel right by station
Good spot if using hotel as base for rail trips as right opposite station.Clean and friendly small hotel. Excellent restaurant -Adam &Eden attached.

The room was a bit small but it was clean and very nicely appointed. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I loved that the hotel was right across the street from train station and had all kinds of bakeries and shops to choose from

Fantastic hotel, convenient location
The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are clean, new and stylish. Really great hotel. The location, across the street from the train station, is convenient for transport to all the major tourist sites. My room was dead quiet and wonderfully comfortable. Parking in the area in inexpensive. The only issue I have is not the hotel's problem -- the neighborhood is a bit suspect after 22:00. I wouldn't want to be out alone on the street at night. The hotel is totally safe -- it's just that the area is a bit questionable late at night.

Excellent location close to railway Mainz Hbf railway station. Staff are helpful. The bed and room comfortable and clean. Amazingly quiet considering location. On the down side, one english tea bag and one small shower gel supplied for three night stay of two people is a little mean and did nit like the frosted glass doors to ensuite which made noise whenn opened and closed.

Very convenient if you are passing by this city to catch the scenic train to cologne. Is right across the station and staff is really nice. Room was clean spacious with great amenities (slippers, robe, and toiletries). I couldnt enjoy the breakfast coz the bed was so comfy I slept through it and had to rush to catch my train, but the restaurant seemed to be dishing out some great food. Would stay here again!

The view from my room was of the central train station which was lit up for Christmas. The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to help you. Chamber cleaning was spot on. Kudos to the whole staff!!! Michael

Lovely hotel in a great location. We booked here for easy access to the Christmas market. Right opposite the main train station it was in a super convenient location and just 10 minutes walk from the Christmas market.

Everything about the AC Hotel in Mainz was lovely. The building is beautiful, the rooms clean, fresh and comfortable, and the staff was attentive and warm. The food in Adam & Eden is also very good.

Extremely convienient for us next to the Hauptbahnhof. Very helpful staff, the room was very clean and the bed was comfy. Very nice big bathroom and wonderful shower! It was wonderful to have air conditioning as it was pretty warm this summer. Highly recommend this hotel in Mainz.

Great hotel at convenient location
The hotel was at a very convenient location, right next to the train station and within walking distance of city center. The hotel was very quiet and clean. The lobby was very welcoming and at night there were packets of lavender out for us to put near our pillow. This was one of the few hotels where the air conditioning worked exceptionally well. The only negative is that the breakfast buffet was nothing special; I would go elsewhere for breakfast next time.

Great value Charming but more modern than it looks
Short but great 1 night stay while travelling through Germany. Great front of house service (spoke English well). Air conditioned rooms were amazing, as it was sweltering hot outside. The staff also advised on parking AND upgraded our room because we were on route to our wedding that week. Great value, would stay again!!

Pricey for what you get.
We stayed for 2 nights. The hotel is very close to the station, which suited us. The staff were very nice and friendly. The breakfast was average given the room rate, but no real complaints. The superior room was disappointingly small.Glad we were not in a standard one. The twins beds were fine.

Fantastic hotel
The staff were so welcoming. I was treated to a Campari-flavoured sweetie thing on arrival and was upgraded to a room on the top floor. The room was immaculate with great air conditioning and was silent - even though the hotel is close to the train station. Breakfast was delicious and the whole hotel is wonderfully decorated. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone.
