Lovely friendly staff, made to feel welcome. Hotel is in a residential area and is exceptionally quiet. There was a large carpark available for guests. The tram to Mainz centre was just round the corner. Room was large but dated. The door of the wardrobe was broken off and had been left tucked down the side. The bed was comfy but also sank on one side. The toilet in the bathroom could do with a good clean. It was very badly stained. Breakfast was good value for €7 each per day. Although limited options if you have any allergies. No fresh salad bits, cheese and meats already plated and covered in cling film. We observed people picking up the plates to inspect what's on it, then put it back. Fruit was only apples. In these Covid times everything was clearly marked out. There was lots of spacing in the breakfast room and disinfection stations at the entrance to the room and also the hotel. Our room was not entered by anyone else during our stay. Would be happy to stay again as a stop over.
