"The room was spectacular! The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating! When we had to check out at 5AM they told us to not worry about waiting and to head out! It was streamlined and peaceful! The pool was AMAZING! We sat in the hot tub for over an hour watching the stars. "
"Just a lovely stay in this beautiful unique home. Great location, incredibly clean. Just the right size for a couple staying the week. The hosts were incredibly thoughful. Greatly enjoyed the stay and would stay again! "
"Great location, clean and just a short walk to the local beach while you enjoy that morning cup of coffee! The staff are wonderful to with local tips and help in any way.
We came from a few time zones east so the morning roosters were fine with us, still set your alarm as you get used to them after a day or two. Waimea canyon access is a few minutes drive. A great coffee shop and local movie theater is across the street. Kids bring your boogie boards as you can catch the river current out and then ride the waves back in. We were lucky to catch the Chinese New Year celebration in Hanapepe that the kids will love but every Friday night is an arts night celebration there. Talk Story Bookstore has moved from their original location unfortunately but the kids will love to be in the home town of Lilo and Stitch. . "
"I would book this accommodation again. The staff were very friendly. Upon arrival the receptionist explained everything and answered all my questions. "
"Feels private and immersed in jungle. Gorgeous architecture, comfortable bed, and spotless! Being a short walk from Nourish and a longer walk to the beach was also fab. We wanted a place to unwind and relax after the Kalalau trail and this bnb hit the spot. "
"Our stay was perfect. The staff at HCR made us feel very welcome and at home. The after hours check in was super easy too!
The room (D1) we had overlooked the entire courtyard to the ocean. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, dishes and pots and pans. I would say if you are considering preparing a lot of your own food, bring a sharp knife. We also would suggest replacing the dustpan in D1. The room was clean, well maintained and very comfortable.
The coffee shop was also a real treat. Wonderful people making wonderful coffee and lots of beautiful artwork to peruse as well. We sampled the pool, hot tub, the coffee house, the secret restaurant that we will never forget. It was truly an unforgettable experience. The staff on the resort were all kind, welcoming and gracious with their time.
The beach….. it was beautiful the entire time. Whether it was raining and windy or warm and sunny, everyday the beach delivered. We cannot wait to go back!! Thank you HCR!! "
