"We did not stay here! They would not check us in even though I showed them we had paid on Expedia. They wanted cash from us. They said Expedia doesn’t pay them and they wanted us to pay again. We didn’t because the place looked dirty and unfinished. We left. "Well run small hotel. The room was large, adequately equipped and the AC was fine. Dinner and breakfast in the cafe/restauarnt was very good - maybe the best ‘Sri Lanka Curry and rice’ I had during my touring holiday. All the staff were really friendly and happy to carry my bags up the couple of flight of stairs. All in all, a good hotel and would recommend "

"spotless rooms, comfortable bed, really helpful and friendly staff with good breakfasts. be aware the hotel is at the top of quite a steep hill, we enjoyed the walking but maybe consider using a tuktuk if you're not a fan! overall this was probably the best hotel we stayed at in Sri Lanka"
