HOMEABOUT LA MERCED PENTHOUSE 38 (2BR 2BT):
Bright apartment composed of two double bedrooms and two bathrooms, located in a modern building, just few minutes walking from Plaza de la Merced.The flat is located on a fifth floor, easily accessible with the lift entering from the main common terrace (with wide view all over Málaga); the main terrace does not belong to the flat, but it has a direct access to it.Really close to the historical centre, 3 minutes walking from Plaza de la Merced, 10 minutes walking from Calle Larios; supermarkets and restaurants all around the area. It is perfect for families or small groups. The area is calm.





THE FLAT- Living room: the living/dining room is wide and bright with a direct access to the terrace. There is a 3 seats sofa, an armchair and a TV. It has a split air conditioning (working also as a heater).- Bedroom 1: It is equipped with a big double bed of 150cm, an ensuite bathroom and a ceiling fan.- Bedroom 2: It is also equipped with a big double bed of 150cm, and ceiling fan.- Outsider bathroom: complete 3 pieces bathroom with shower.- Kitchen: fully equipped with domestic appliances and all the amenities.







EXTRAS- Our guests have full access to the two common terraces in the top of the building, shared with the rest of tenants.- There is not any washing machine in the flat, but we dispose of a common coins laundry in the building.- There is availability of parking spots in the same building, for an extra cost of 15€ per night, but THEY MUST BE BOOKED IN ADVANCE.- Pets are welcome, but there is an additional charge of 10€ per stay and per pet.







CHECK IN / CHECK OUT- Check in is automatic, you will find the keys in a lockbox. TIME: From 3pm.- Our staff will ask you your ID documents/passports and will send the information about the automated access a few days before the entrance.- Check out is automatic too, you must leave ALL the keys inside the flat on top of the table before leaving the flat. TIME: until 11am.







EXTRAS RULES- Please, take care of the flat. You must leave it in the same conditions as you found it.- To preserve the climate, please be careful with turning on/off the light, AC and/or heating when you are not in the flat.- It is forbidden to smoke inside the apartment and in the common zones of the building, except in the terraces.- Parties are not allowed, events or loud noises. Please, respect the common zones in the building and the resting times of the neighbourhood between 10pm – 9am. Take care and respect the silence and remember to keep the main entrance door closed all the times.- People not registered in the booking cannot be hosted.

We liked the terrace and the possibility to stay on the terrace (even if with limited time, after 23 pm is not allowed anymore). Comfortable beds, sofa, very well equipped kitchen. Here and there some things old but all clean so, good enough. Close to the city center (10 minutes walking) and the beach (20-25 minutes). Supermarket very close, 5 minutes walking.

Meh

While the location was good and it was nice to have the shared outdoor space, there were problems that were not resolved because nobody answered the phone. We had no hot water in either shower for 2 days, and when I tried to contact Homeaway by phone several times, I was on hold for 5 minutes before the call disconnected. I understand that all properties can have issues, but there was no way to resolve ours. And the lobby area smelled like cat urine.
