Location is the best aspect of this hostal. Then, it's a small room. Depending on the room, you can hear voices from time to time. But overall, recommended if you visit Málaga a couple of days and you're on a budget.

Nice place, friendly staff,great for budget travel
We are a couple from England visiting Malaga and found this hotel good value for money. The check-in was quite confusing as you had to go into a huge building and up to the third floor and then ring on a bell to get to a check-in desk. The lady there didn't speak too much English but was extremely friendly. We had an ensuite room and had to walk 4 minutes back across the city to get there with only a piece of paper and the name of the building. It would have been great to get specific instructions on where the place is. The room was clean and spacious and had a balcony, it was on the 7th floor so had good views. When we were checking out we were permitted to leave our bags in the main hotel building and they even offered us to use their shower facilities/bathroom later that day. I would highly recommend this place for budget travellers!

Birthday Treat
Firstly i think i caught them on a bad day. I booked a room as a birthday treat for myself. I checked in and was given a fabulous room on the front of hotel looking down the main street. I unpacked and went shoping on my return i found my room unlocked and some one cleaning it with all my stuff on table. I was told i had to move rooms so had to pack up again a move to a room at the back. The room was ok but workmen were working in the room next door so hammering and driling went on until 8pm at night and started again in the morning. On the plus side. The location is excellent and the beds are really comfortable. As i mentioned i think i caught them on an off day.

If you want to stay at the centre of the city, this is the hotel for you. Right at the entrance of Calle Larissa, fabulous bars and restaurants all very close.

The hotel is at No Car parking street zone ( the whole area), so it's hard to get to. But it 's the center of city, so easy walking to everywhere. Street is confusing when first day there.

Clean, cheap and central
We spent a single night at this well priced , central hostal. It was clean and comfortable. Check in was quick and they held onto our bags during the following day while we explored Malaga. The bathroom is separate.

Excellent location!
The room was small, but the location was excellent! After a certain hour, the main doors are closed and you have to ring the doorbell. Bc there were street performers right in front of the door, when I wanted to go in, the people in the hotel could not hear me when I tried to identify myself as a guest.

A great budget stay!
I’ve stayed in Hostal Larios on a couple of occasions when I’ve needed to stay overnight in Málaga after a flight. It’s a really nice hotel, perfectly located on the main street and just a few minutes walk from the airport bus stop. The rooms are quite small, but very comfortable. The reception staff are very pleasant and helpful. This will always be my go-to place for a budget stay in Málaga!

The word hostel is a little confusing. The bedroom was small but clean and comfortable with a/c, tv, sink and wardrobe/ safe. Had to share a toilet/ shower but there were 2 a few metres down the corridor and no queuing. It is excellent value and would recommend.

Spotless, but with minor annoyance.
This hostal was in a great area. Close to all the attractions. A very clean place. However some other customers did do a lot of talking in the morning. There is alzo some construction work being done at the back.
