Lovely hotel with super-friendly staff. External areas very well kept - shame the pool was a bit too cold for a dip! Internally, decorated very nicely with each room featuring a famous actress from the past. Spotlessly clean and nice little touches of local cake and chocolates left by housekeeping. Buffet breakfast - plenty of choice for small hotel. We hired their bikes which allowed us to cycle along the coast and enjoy a lovely meal on one of the many beach-front restaurants to the east - amazing chargrilled fish/seafood! The hotel is about a 20 min walk from the centre of Malaga but we actually didn’t mind this as it allowed us to walk off the super Spanish cuisine! Would definitely recommend this hotel if you like a quiet location - our top floor room, which can sleep 2 adults and 2 kids/teens was very spacious - especially the walk-in wardrobe and bathroom.

The best thing about Villa Lorena was the excellent friendly service from Naomi both to help us with our after hours check-in and providing a great breakfast. The property is very modern and beautiful. Anne Parish

Perfect for a relaxing stay in Malaga, as it's located in a quieter residential area. It was a 10 minute walk to the beach, and a 30 minute walk to the centre. Parking at the hotel was easy as we'd reserved a space in advance. The receptionists Naomi and Silvia were friendly and helpful, and our room was spacious and immaculately clean, with a large terrace overlooking the pool. The hotel has a communal fridge where you can take items and have them billed to your room, but there is also a shelf at the bottom where you can put any of your own food and drink, which was ideal. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel :-)

A little back from the beach and main road. Local beach good but had to catch bus to go eat later meaning bus back. Bus service very good but a drag at end of day for the walk. Excellent breakfast. Disapointed not offered something for early start on last day as we had paid for the breakfast in the room rate. Shower was a bit too cramped but overall a very good hotel in a good area.

Very quiet places up in the hill. The decor of hotel is classic and elegant. Staff are very friendly. Just the room is very small.

This place is beautiful and elegant. The reception by Amelia was warm and helpful. There are lots of free parking spots around the property but they were all taken up during the day and overnight; evenings were the only time to find parking. The washroom was quite small and shower stall was uncomfortable.

Fantastic staff made us feel at home as soon as we got to the villa, nothing was too much for them and always jhappy to help, the villa is a fair walk from the centre but there is a bus about a 5 minuite walk away that will take you straight there

A lovely hotel in a very tranquil location. A gem!
First visit to Malaga city, loved it, felt safe even at night, very clean. Lots to do but easy to relax too. The promenade is lovely and a great place to sit and people watch. Very Spanish feel.

A lovely place!
The hotel was situated in a quiet, very Spanish suburb of Malaga, about 30 minutes walk from the city centre. We met few other tourists whilst out in the area. There were bicycles available for guests to use which were great fun and useful! The hotel was spotless and breakfast excellent. Our hosts, Frens and Jeroen, were friendly and always willing to give advice about local restaurants and activities. Overall a fabulous stay and would definitely return.

Bueno, aunque mejorable.
Aunque el trato ha sido correcto y el hotelito es agradable, a partir de las 16 h no había nadie en recepción. Por la mañana, a partir de las 8,30 había bastante ruido, a pesar de que son sólo siete habitaciones. La zona es residencial y muy tranquila, se encuentra próxima a la playa, pero lejos del centro. Solicité que me pidieran un taxi al aeropuerto y así lo han hecho y me lo confirmaron después por whathsapp, pero el taxista me ha cobrado 38 euros, aunque me dijeron que iba a ser sobre 20-25. Se me comunicó que tenía botella de vino incluida en la habitación y no había, aunque tampoco la he reclamado.

Wir hatten wunderbare 10 Tage in der Villa Lorena. Besonders das Personal, allen voran Naomi, war absolut professionell, freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Nicht zu vergessen das Housekeeping Personal war absolute Spitze. Der einzig negative Punkt war, dass man uns ein Upgrade für die letzten 3 Tage (Suite) verwehrt hat. Gründe noch immer unersichtlich. Das wurde jedoch in der Verwaltung entschieden. Villa Lorena ist für unsere Malaga Belange eine Top Location.

De accomodatie was mooi en schoon. Echter het ontbijt was minimaal waardoor wij er geen gebruik van gemaakt hebben. Dan is het jammer dat de accomodatie ver buiten het centrum ligt om ergens anders te ontbijten. Verder ligt het hotel wel in een mooie veilige wijk. Het zwembad was ook niet altijd schoon waardoor wij er geen gebruik van gemaakt hebben. Ook misten wij een kleine koelkast in onze kamer zeker met de hoge temperaturen zou het fijn geweest zijn als je wat drinken en andere dingen daarin zou kunnen doen. Verder was ons verblijf prima. Hotelkamer was klein maar wel schoon en mooi balkon.

Charming indeed!
Väldigt trevligt, litet hotell med fantastisk service främst från Naomi som är en riktig stjärna. Läget är bra, nära Malagueta, bra frukost och väldigt rent och fint. Det är lite lyhört men det var inga högljudda gäster när vi bodde där. Helnöjda!

Fint litet hotell med promenadavstånd till det mesta. Frukosten öppnar något sent men den fantastiska personalen fixade frukostpaket som låg färdigt i ett kylskåp de dagar vi ville ut tidigt. Lite lyhört mot korridoren.

Hyggeligt, rent og intimt mindre hotel, kun 15 min, gang fra stranden. Ved besøg var der dog lidt blade mv. i overfladen af vandet som burde være fjernet, så pool virkede helt ren.

Prettig ontvangst door aardige dame. De villa ligt erg rustig en in een mooie wijk. Veel uitleg over activiteiten en tips. Fietsen waren erg prettig om te kunnen gebruiken. Mooie accommodatie en erg netjes. We vroegen of ze speelkaarten had en heeft die spontaan de dag erna gekocht voor gebruik. Zeer attent! Zeker een accommodatie om aan te raden.

Super verblijf in Villa Lorena!
Ons verblijf in Villa Lorena was super! We werden heel vriendelijk ontvangen en kregen goede tips over Malaga en omgeving. De kamers waren mooi ingericht, schoon en met balkon. Het ontbijt was ook heel goed en met de fietsen die je gratis (!) kan lenen, ben je snel aan het strand of in het centrum. De wijk is erg mooi en rustig, ik zou Villa Lorena zeker aanbevelen!

Boutique- hotel in statige villa in de rustige, exclusieve wijk Limonar. Even van het centrum maar elke gast heeft een gratis fiets. Geweldige service en persoonlijke aandacht voor elke cliënt. Uitermate behulpzaam en vriendelijk personeel. Zeer verzorgd en net en uitstekende bedden.

Långweekend i februari
Mycket trevligt litet hotel. Ligger i lugna kvarter 10 min med cykel, som man fick låna, från centrum. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal, sköna sängar, god frukost med gott kaffe och lagom mycket att välja på. Mysig liten trädgård med pool och solstolar. Fanns en kyl där man kunde köpa dricka och det fanns även en hylla som gästerna fick sätta sina egna varor. Mycket nöjda.

Einfach prima, toller Empfang, super Besitzer einfach alles perfekt. Beim nächsten Besuch in Malaga sicher wieder unser Domizil. Ich müsste es empfehlen tu es aber nicht es könnte uns ja jemand ein Zimmer wegschnappen.
