The hotel is the official hotel of the Malaga Marathon. I have stayed there happily in the past when running the marathon. This year, however, the hotel allowed a very loud Christmas party to take place the night before the marathon. This prevented me, and other runners, from getting to sleep early. My daughter, who speaks fluent Spanish, went down to reception twice to complain. The noise stopped for a little while, but then continued until 11.30pm. Not good!
