"Nice location near the main road of Tata.Beautiful little old house with two bedrooms, a large living room, a kitchen, and an open-concept space at the back. The house matches the description, with two beautiful bedrooms and air conditioning, and being able to bring our dog is greatly appreciated. There's a barbecue, which is a nice touch, but the patio table could be larger. There are still things to improve for this rental to get 5 stars. Cleanliness was well below our expectations upon arrival. The vacuum was already full, and I had to empty it before using it because there was a lot of hair and dust on the floor, behind furniture, both downstairs and upstairs. My partner had to clean the table and kitchen counter, which hadn’t been done. There were also crumbs left on the chairs. The kitchen equipment is old but functional. Having newer appliances, especially the refrigerator, which also wasn't very clean, would be a plus."

"We loved our end of summer visit. The space worked well for four adults. The cottage is sweet, and had everything we needed. The lake, dock and gazebo exceeded our expectations. Swimming, fishing, canoeing, bonfires, and watching the wildlife were enjoyed by all of us.The lake was filled with smallmouth bass. We would love to return!"

"We are three Senior siblings who spend a week together every summer. We enjoyed the Northumberland Nook very much. It was clean, with lots of towels, a very well equipped kitchen and comfortable seating. The deck overlooking the water was our favourite place. The beach is a couple of minutes from the cottage. At high tide the swimming was wonderful. At low tide, we could walk the sand flats and enjoy the beach. The beds were comfortable and the extra half bath and the outside shower were handy! Air conditioning added to the experience as it was hot and humid a couple of the days we were there. Lighting in the great room is excellent. We could see the sun coming up and going down from the great room and the deck."

"Loved this sweet little cabin on a lovely brook in a quiet treed area. The cabin was very clean. Particularly loved sleeping in the loft with the window open, listening to the sound of the brook bubbling past."
