"Week end hivernal très reposant le long du canal et au milieu des champs inondés par la Meuse. Endroit très calme. Promenade en forêt et sur le chemin de halage avec une petite visite sur Verdun. La télé et le Wifi ne sont pas au meilleur de leurs formes mais nous n'étions pas là pour ça. Propriétaire très sympathique. Nous sommes repartis très reposés. Lieu à recommander pour se ressourcer. "Clean, big house. We were there with 2 families. A great multi level garden with toys for the kids (inside and outside). Great patio to hang out with table and chairs. Garden is a very very big plus point. What would make the garden complete are a few movable lounge chairs. The host and property manager were very quick in responding to all our request. "From our drive into this quaint village we were greeted with beautiful views and quiet streets that pictures simply can't capture. The check in process was seamless and we were delighted with the accommodations. Our host as well as the neighbors were very hospitable. We hope to go back when traveling in France again."

"The gite was very well equipped and comfortable. Probably one of the best we have stayed in over many years. The surrounding countryside is variable, with flat plains , hills and lakes. If you are interested in Ww1 the preserved trenches in the area are the best I have seen. Verdun and Nancy, which are a short drive away, are both historical and picturesque."

"Booked & paid for this but never stayed. Received message from the host Laurent saying apartment no longer available offering alternate in same town which I reluctantly agreed to. Later Laurent admitted this alternate ‘wasn’t finished’ and I then asked to cancel and refund - too much dishonesty. Four weeks later & numerous contacts with Laurent & still no refund. It’s either terrible service or a scam. Now taking it up with Expedia."

The owners worked hard to fix and upgrade this property and it shows. It was less than 15 minutes from where my mom grew up and where our family lives, making it ideal. "Stopped here en route to Italy by car, very much off the beaten track. Lovely countryside location, very peaceful.
