The room was super clean, bed really comfy, lots of clean towels, with great in room facilities including tea & coffee, lots of power points, hanging space, storage, tv and air con. The staff were super helpful and friendly too especial regarding the local area. We were so happy we stayed an extra night.

The Hotel was so so cute and the accomodation too. I couldn’t recommend more highly! I left credit cards in my room and one of your staff rushed out to the Carpark to find me! I can’t wait to go back!

Could not have been happier with the accommodation, food, staff, etc! Was exactly as expected with ample clean showers and toilets available within a short walk from our room with easy access! There was a refrigerator available near the patio to place your marked cooler goods in! Honestly, would stay again as right in the middle of Maleny and reasonably priced!

Big family room was great, as was the service from hotel staff (especially Tanya). The bathroom and showers needs a lot of work though. Water pressure was very poor and the water temp was either freezing cold or boiling hot.

Maleny magic

2nd stay at the lovely Maleny hotel to attend the Wood Expo. Good value for basic, comfortable room . Shared bathrooms in immaculate condition. Every staff member we interacted with were very friendly and helpful especially Hayley in the restaurant . Its nice to buy a bottle of wine from the bottle shop and sit on the private verandah upstairs watching the world go by😊

Atmospheric stay in a fantastic Queensland town

We chose Hotel Maleny because of its location in the interesting town centre opposite Maleny Sunday Market. The room, however, was small and basic, but adequate for one night. The check in was friendly enough and the hotel sent out welcome and thank you emails which was a nice touch. The atmospheric hotel has good parking facilities and a reputation for good meals as well, but we chose to eat at the nearby Indian Daawat Restaurant which is family run and offers tasty home style cooking. When in Maleny, don´t forget to drop by the fantastic IGA supermarket near the hotel. It has a fantastic range.

The wait staff in the restaurant were five star, both Ciela and the young guys on the roster on Sat night. Excellent service from them. The salmon was succulent and melt in your mouth and the chips were the crunchiest ever. Loved my dinner. I have dietary requirements and they went over and above to make sure I was safe eating what they prepared for me. While there was a sign indicating that the water pressure and temperature was poor, it was abyssmal. Such a waste of water waiting or the heat and cold to come through. And the heat died out. The basin tap was a dribble in the bathroom. The towels smelt a bit like cigarette smoke or something stale, they didn't smell fresh but were definitely very clean in themselves. And through the night, when anyone used the bathroom, the pipes rattled so loudly that it sounded like an earthquake!! it wasn't that great when at 1am, someome had their shower. Something has to be done to the water system please. Overall I had a good exp3rience and the room was clean and had all the amenities that I would require. I would definitely go back.

Beautiful old pub that needs a paint job on the exterior. Rooms and furniture need some work. Could be really nice. Enjoyed the bar and the food was delicious. Disappointed with the small room and furniture. We understood bathroom was shared. No problem. Next door neighbours tv was on our wall and could here it easily.

Good for the price. It's a basic hotel but has all you need especially for a quick easy overnight stay which was what I had. The rooms can be a bit noisy until about 10 from the lounge below, so not the place to choose if you just want peace and quiet. Very quaint, real old Queensland style building.

The pipes kept up the loudest noise every time anyone turned on a tap. Very loud screeches. You could hear everyone talking in the surrounding rooms. Outside our window, two whirly birds with bad bearings were grinding all night. They had an Easter egg search at five am. Never again. What a terrible night.

The sheets and bedding were very dusty actually gave me asthma and that rarely happens. Surfaces in room could do with wiping down and vacuum to remove dust. Otherwise was good budget accommodation.

About the fourth time I've stayed. Some idiosyncrasies like the hot water in showers sometimes coming through slowly, but it does come. Always love my stay.
