"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It has a beautiful view of the countryside, way up high on the mountain top and it overlooks a lovely monastery. We loved that it had two bathrooms and two bedrooms. This is a very roomy home. I could have spent a month here enjoying the solitude as we love being in small mountain villages. The owner has thought of everything. We felt right at home."

"The apartment is spacious, clean, well-appointed with all the necessary equipment for a nice holiday and we slept well in a comfortable bed. The decoration is peaceful with charming personal touches. Milatos Beach, with its tavernas along the front, including one run by Kostas’ family, has more the laid back feel of the villages on the south coast. We can recommend the food at the family taverna and ate there frequently enjoying the very warm hospitality of the family. We would recommend it."

"We stayed here over Christmas and New Years for 16 days with our two sons aged 24 and 18. This is an authentic village house that has been renovated but has not lost its charm. The furniture and decor reflected someone's home. The house had Christmas decorations in place for us. On arrival there was fruit, biscuits, wine, raki, local olive oil there for us. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten in Heraklion sind fußläufig zu erreichen und selbst Knossos ist nur etwa 8-10 km entfernt. Weiter Ziele z. B. im Süden, Westen, Südwesten sind nur mit Mietwagen zu erreichen bzw. man holt vorher Erkundigungen ein zum ausgebauten Bus-Linienverkehr. "Klein darf es sein und alt, aber nicht schmutzig und abgewohnt. Das ist wirklich sehr schade, da die Windmühle so viel Potential zum Wohlfühlen hätte. Julienne ist sehr freundlich, die Übergabe der Schlüssel hat perfekt geklappt. Gern hätten wir die wunderschöne Windmühle mit dem kleinen Garten mehr zum Entspannen, Lesen usw. genutzt. "Si on veut décrire la maison en deux mots c'est : "Quelle vue". Seul bémol pour cette location la climatisation qui ne fait pas de froid (géniale pour les moustiques) et la vétusté de la salle d'eau."

"Wi-Fi was down the entire time we were there. Not a huge deal but this was never disclosed to us until we asked. Seems like some information we could have be told up front. Bathroom was definitely not cleaned before our arrival. House is overall tired and needs some basic attention. Lots of lights that don’t work, shower was pretty dirty.
