A wonderful city break ....
Been an amazing trip as always. Only downfall for us is the breakfast service - always slow, lacking detail and usually incorrect. But overall a great place to be and so well located.

Great Property / Minor Staff Issues
3-nights in standard room. Beautiful, elegant hotel with very friendly, welcoming staff. Stunning bar, excellent drinks, best continental breakfast we've ever experienced. Large, bright, well-equipped and clean room. Great shower but minor bathroom issues: two bits of debris from previous guests were stuck to the sink (old toothpaste and something unidentifiable) / rotted wood trim by the shower / floor tiles around the toilet appeared to be stained by previous flooding incidents. The front-of-house staff were young but uniformly professional. It was odd (to us) that all the women were model beautiful while all the men were just regular looking guys. My wife noted that the hiring manager was probably a middle-age guy. The front desk staff did not seem to know the area all that well and were unaware of a few local basics (such as how the ticket system worked with the Palma-Soller train). They were unaware all surrounding streets were going to be closed for a big marathon race the morning of our departure (we found out by accident and they were surprised when we told them). The airport transfer they arranged to pick us up at the hotel had to be changed to another location and was then changed again. There was poor communication on this internally between staff and between the hotel and the transfer company. The transfer never arrived. Fortunately, the only taxi still inside the closed streets was at that pick-up location. Otherwise, we would have missed our flight out.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Hotel Gloria de Sant Jaume. From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed. The check-in process was one of the best I’ve ever experienced and I saw how appreciated it was when a weary travelling family arrived shortly after us. Each of the front office staff members we met were extremely attentive and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. From making dinner reservations, offering tour suggestions, and even organizing a little birthday surprise for me at breakfast one morning (thank you!); nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast each day was lovely with many delicious options and excellent service. Cocktails in the beautiful bar/lounge were always expertly mixed and don’t miss out dining right at the Patio Gloria Restaurant one night. It was one of our best meals accompanied by expert, attentive service and an excellent wine selected by a very proficient, helpful and friendly sommelier. Our room was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed, pillows and crisp sheets. The roof top pool area and basement spa areas are also clean and beautiful and perfect to enjoy after busy days of exploring. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hotel Gloria de Sant Jaume and hope we’re lucky enough to return one day.

The service at this hotel is like watching a master class in running a hotel. The staff are wonderful and the food is stunning, everything thing from the freshly squeezed orange juice to the cakes & pastries to the three course evening dinner. You will not regret a second of your stay.

Very Classy Hotel. Low key luxury without the shouting. Very friendly warm staff from the moment we walked in. Greeted with a drink of cava which we took to the stunning roof. We took full use of all the facilities , Spa and Swimming Pool in Vaults are beautiful. Roof terrace was so relaxing. Breakfast was incredible and Cocktails in the bar were the best we had in Palma. Location was just perfect for us as all our favourite bars restaurants and shops were 5 mins walk away but you feel you are totally hidden away from the busy city. Our new favourite hotel in Spain and we will definately be back. Muchas Gracias Gloria

Exceptional boutique hotel
Exceptional 5 star boutique hotel, a real hidden gem, centrally located off main shopping street Jaime III. Friendly and informative staff provided guidance on dining places and where to walk around. Lovely breakfast each morning included choice of healthy and hearty options. Beautiful decor throughout, very attractive bar and restaurant, gorgeous indoor basement pool and sauna. Lift to Rooftop plunge pool and seating. Can’t wait to stay there again!

I am just returned from a wonderful city break with my daughter in Palma. The hotel was marvellous in an excellent location in the old city. All of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They provided us with superbe restaurant recommendations. I rarely leave reviews but I have such a high opinion of Hotel Gloria that I want to share this gem of a hotel.

Service a bit slow due to staff shortages ( still).... But the staff they have are fab. Very very clean. No main restaurant yet, and superb indoor pool and spa !

Gorgeous hotel
This hotel is beautiful. We checked in late because of our flight. 2 glasses of Cava was served to us. The spa is gorgeous. The room had a balcony overlooking the street. We also had a 5 am departure time. The hotel packed us a breakfast for the flight. All those touches make a difference and are so rare.

Just back after a four night stay at the hotel and had a fabulous experience. Hotel was gorgeous with lots of nice touches around. Room was well appointed and had lovely high ceilings and a really decent Bose speaker! Nice little Lindt chocolates on turn down service. The roof terrace is fantastic and after visiting a few others this was by far the best as it was peaceful yet the hotel itself is only a couple of minutes from the middle of the hustle and bustle of Palma. Lovely spa which we made good use of and breakfast is just wonderful. I asked my husband if of all the places we walked around and knowing the locations of some of the other hotels we looked at I asked him if when we come back would you stay here again or try somewhere else, his response was “why would you? This place is just perfect!”. Says it all really!

The hotel was beautiful and the staff welcoming. My one complaint was how noisy the area was. We were there on a Friday night and the noise from the street woke us up in the middle of the night several times.

A perfect gem
Stunning boutique hotel in a perfect location, Difficult to fault. Service from all staff was exceptional and better than any other I've experienced. Incredibly friendly and helpful. Downside... On the last evening (Saturday), the noise from a party or gathering was so loud and went on until 3am. Not sure if it was from inside or outside the hotel but it was relentless.

Excellent overall, but not too family friendly
I second all the positive things written about this hotel by the previous guests. It truly is an amazing hotel and the staff are attentive and helpful. There are a few issues I would like to point out if you're travelling with children: 1. The spa times are restricted for children. This can lead to disappointment, especially since the main reason for paying so much for this hotel is the Spa itself. Not being able to use it after 12PM I found very frustrating. 2. The spa areas and the rooftop area have security cameras installed as you sunbathe/swim. Not sure why this is necessary. It makes you feel as if you're constantly being watched. 3. The recent renovation of the hotel keeps its original features preserved. This includes the windows which do not insulate the sound very well, so you get a lot of noise coming from the outside. Normally not a problem for me, but for children this can prove a bit of a problem.
