Whatley Manor
5.0 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (53)
"It is a beautiful luxurious hotel with a superb spa. Rooms were nice and bedding very comfortable. Grey's restaurant food is average and very limited choice and overhyped but breakfast was excellent. The biggest surprise on checking out was that they charged 10% service charge on the whole bill including the room charge that was prepaid on Hotels.com. There was no warning and left a bitter taste. "Friendly helpful staff in old rural hotel. A real taste of the Cotswolds. Ample parking close to hotel. Good food in pleasant bar area. Be prepared for old slightly uneven floors much in keeping with the age and style of the place. Enjoyed my stay and would stay again."
