Malmedy Hotel Guide - Malmundarium hotels in Malmedy, Belgium.

"Expedia was deceiving- there is an extra fee and reservation needed for the pool- so I picked it for the pool and didn't get to go in as the spa was closed when we got there and we were leaving in the morning. The restaurant, breakfast and room was great except they put the toilet in a separate room so you have to walk around to wash your hands- kind of annoying"

"This is a quirky little hotel which has quite a late check-in at 6 pm. However when we phoned there was somebody with us within five minutes to provide us the key. Location is really central and our room was sufficient but not huge, however we were only there for a couple of nights and it was fine. There was a great little restaurant just around the corner where we had an evening meal at 6 pm. It was quite busy so you may have to be book in advance. "

"We liked the size of the room and where the hotel was located in the town. It was easy to access the F1 shuttle and walkable for many good cafes and restaurants. There was also a very cute dog that may have lived with the owner that was a big highlight. We did not like the condition of the hotel or room. The pictures on the website were obviously of a better time for the hotel. The bed was uncomfortable, the two very old pillows were almost not pillows, the bed linens and towels were very worn. The shower had great water pressure but the shower enclosure was awkward and ineffective. The bathroom floor was very slippery with so much water getting on it. There was no tv, the wifi was not good and the parking is just general street parking ( which we had no problem finding parking). Overall, I would personally not stay at this hotel again. It is way too run down and old. However the place would be cute if some love and care was put back into it. "

"Dit huisje heeft een mooie ligging en een fantastisch uitzicht over Malmedy. Maar de foto's zijn erg gedateerd en zeker niet up to date. Het huisje mist veel liefde en onderhoud. Tuin meubilair wat stuk is, de knoppen van het fornuis zijn beplakt met ductape, de balustrade is verrot en zit vast geplakt met ductape. Het huisje was niet schoon en het keukengerei was vies en plakkerig, de matras overtrekken waren vies maar het naarste was de vieze lucht die in het hele huis hing en ook niet weg ging, om deze reden zijn wij ook eerder vertrokken. Allemaal erg jammer want de locatie en het uitzicht is echt fantastisch."
