Great stay with great people

Very good service and very nice people. We overlooked that we had to give a notice about our late arrival. Despite this they had arranged it for us anyway and we could spend a good night in the hotel. We woke up to a great breakfast with a beautiful view of the frozen lake outside.

Very friendly. The breakfast was excellent. They didn’t have a chef so my advice is to take dinner and drink with you or go to a Pizzeria just some minutes away and take it with you to the hotel. The dining room was beautiful with a view over the water. We got plates and glasses at the hotel.

Rustic property at a reasonable price.

This hotel is in a beautiful area along a river outside of Malung, but the rooms are small and not particularly comfortable. It is a rustic property rather than a comfortable hotel. On the other hand, if one is looking for an adequate place to stay for a couple days at a very reasonable price, then this could be the right place. We hosted a dinner for 9 relatives in the dining room while staying here, and we were very happy with the food. Service is slow because there is limited staff, but we just wanted to spend time together so that was not a problem. For the quality of the food, the price was very reasonable. Breakfast is served in the same dining area, which includes a choice of indoor and outdoor seating, and it was fine. We asked about doing laundry while we were there, and one of the staff members did laundry for us for a reasonable charge.

Lugna dagar på Världshuset Lugnet!

Trevligt bemötande, vackert och lugnt läge! Tyvärr serverades det ingen lunch eller middag, pga att det inte fanns någon kock men frukosten var bra inget att klaga på, rummet var stort ljust och fint med balkong, och med sköna sängar! Väldigt vacker omgivning, ganska ny tillträd ägare som arbetar hårt. Frukost helt ok. Tyvärr är inte resturang öppen men vi var inne i Malung och köpte med take a way åt den på altanen, vi fick låna porslin och och bestick från restaurang och hade en angenäm bröllopsdag. Dette har vært et fint hotell i sin tid, men virker i dag litt slitent. Kun observert en ansatt som gjør sitt beste, men det er ingen restaurant eller bar eller noe på stedet. Kun en enkel frokost.
