"We were very disappointed with our stay. We specifically paid extra for a room with a patio because we were traveling with our toddler and wanted a comfortable space to relax together after she went to bed. Unfortunately, the hotel oversold rooms and moved us into a lower-category room for half of our stay. While they offered a small credit, it did not make up for the inconvenience or the impact it had on our trip. We were also told the hotel offered childcare services for an additional fee, which turned out to be false. At that point we still tried to stay positive and make the best of the situation. Unfortunately, things only got worse. The room they placed us in was directly next to parties that continued until around 1 AM both nights. We barely slept. When we were finally moved to another room, that room had water leaking from the ceiling and the coffee maker was also leaking. We reported both issues to the front desk and were only told “sorry,” with no effort made to fix the problems. Beyond our room issues, the property itself appeared poorly maintained. Pool tiles were falling off and some drain covers were broken, which raised safety concerns. Employees even told us the hotel is expected to close in a few months for renovations. If a hotel is no longer able to provide a safe, properly maintained, and quality experience for guests, it should not continue accepting reservations in its current condition. This stay was extremely frustrating and far below expectations."

"The hospitality love the amazing view the property owners are the nicest people so is the staff they make sure that you are very well taken care of, anything you need or any questions that you may have they will have a answer or they will have a suggestion is a very peaceful place and the homemade breakfast and the coffee is the best, Can't wait to go back I miss it already take time to unwind and relax to everyone at Serena boutique hotel Thank you you guys are the best."

"We had two rooms. The floor in one of the rooms was slimy and dirty. A bed cover was stained and had mildew. The bathroom window operator was broken. The sink was clogged. The bath shower tiles are slippery. The ceiling of the other room has open ceiling tiles, which allowed us to hear all the noise from near rooms. Besides, it may allow easy access of insects or mice to the room."

"Super location away from the bustle of San Juan, with bars, restaurants and supermarkets close by. Great sea view, 2mins walk to private beach, with a protected swimming area. Very safe and peaceful."

"A great and relaxing stay. Everything about the Casa Amapola vibe says comfort and quality come first. The outdoor area, with a private pool and three separate areas to relax in, comes with very comfortable and high-quality furniture, gas barbecue, large high-quality beach towels, pool toys, umbrella, and everything a nice resort would have. Indoors you have same quality and comfort with a well-equipped kitchen.The best thing about this home are the bedrooms with comfortable beds and each room has a wall mounted remote-controlled and quiet air conditioner. You get to set the temperature in your bedroom; this is far superior to having a central thermostat.And finally you get Jose as a host, who responds to your questions immediately and with great patience."
