I don’t usually write reviews but the experience here was not ideal. Although everything was resolved by the end of the trip, I wish things could have been better. For starters we arrived on a night where there was an unusual amount of flying ants (ant flies?) which caused us to be uncomfortable at dinner and return to a room full of them! They were on the floor, walls, ceiling and even on the bed! Of course by this time reception was closed and we had to borrow a broom from the restaurant. I am not exaggerating when I say it took us hours to sweep them up. We had planned on going to the Friday night party but that didn’t happen. In addition, it took several visits to fix issues such as no hot water and a non-functioning television. Management compensated us with a meal voucher, and although this was appreciated I feel it was insufficient. I will say Marigot Bay is beautiful and the views were unmatched. Staff for the most part were friendly and helpful. I did appreciate the woman at reception, manager perhaps, towards the end as she was most helpful.

The photos do not do this property justice. It was maintained to perfection and the staff was available for whatever requests you had. I felt safe the entire time and there were plenty of offsite excursions as well as just staying in to enjoy the view from your room. There was plenty to do on the property alone, from hiking to morning yoga to visiting the spa or just reading a book in the treehouse or a hammock. Food at the restaurant was excellent and there was plenty to choose from at breakfast. The menu for dinner rotated every couple days and we had the opportunity to try other restaurants in the area. We are definitely going to return to the property again.

This trip was absolutely amazing. We went with two kids 5 and 8 and could not have asked for a more kid friendly experience that we also got to enjoy. The kids’ club was phenomenal, food great and drinks great. Our favorite were the coconut mojitos made by Tyron in the lobby bar! The staff were also meticulous about picking up a drink cup almost as soon as you were done and kept the pool area so so clean. They were constantly cleaning. The only downside is the beach on property was unusable due to the seaweed but that’s completely out of their control and I don’t hold it against them or the trip because they offer a free daily shuttle to a beach 10 minutes away that was out of this world beautiful and have chairs, beach toys, snorkeling gear and drinks all set up for you there. Was the room updated? Nope. Did we care? Nope. The air conditioning worked perfectly and the only time we were in the room was to sleep or change anyways. This is by far our best all inclusive experience we’ve had and we’ve been to a lot! Highly recommend.

Stunning property with beautiful views. The chocolate infused food was a bit much but the stay was 10/10
