Lakefront and remodeled with large deck on Nolin lake!

We are located only 8 miles from the north entrance of Mammoth Cave National Park and on Nolin Lake. We are open for rental year around. This 1200 sq. ft. home has 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, living room with sectional, color 65inch flat screen smart TV, WIFI (You Tube TV), DVD, and central heat & air. There is a 20 x 26 patio porch with gas grill and picnic table overlooking Nolin Lake. All that you need to bring is food & lake towels!!

On Nolin Lake you are able to enjoy swimming, skiing and fishing. Other activities nearby include cave tours, museums, golf, hiking, horseback riding, shopping and live theatre.

We are located only 8 miles from the north entrance of Mammoth Cave National Park and only 30 / 45 minutes away from other show-caves and area attractions

Policies: No Smoking, no pets and max number of overnight guest is 8.

Please be advised Nolin Lake is owned by the US Corp of Engineers and is used for flood control. Lake access is best during the summer as the Corp lowers the lake (25 / 30 feet) starting late October. Due to the flood control aspect of the lake, the walk up and down to the water can be steep and some guest might find it difficult.

Boat parking at the dock is no longer available as the Corp of Engineers restricts rented properties from using a permitted boat dock. There is a boat ramp 1/4 mile away that you can launch and recover your boat very easily with parking at the ramp (parking can be limited on weekends).

Swimming is available off the shoreline (note rocky and deep), or at the boat ramp, or one of the nearby public beaches (Nolin Lake State Park).

Absolutely amazing property. Very peaceful and relaxing. Has lots games for kids in the game room. Right on the lake. Not far from a Dollar General for anything you need. Has a great lil restaurant up the road. Will be booking this house again

A nice 3 day stay

The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had all the items needed to make any sort of meal, the internet worked well.It may be my fault…but I didn’t understand how little access we would have to swim the lake.

Relaxing Weekend

My teen sons, my Mom, and I enjoyed the peaceful lake view from the covered deck, making S’mores in the fire pit, and the three spacious bedrooms with personal bathrooms. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking and location close enough to explore Bowling Green & Mammoth Cave. I would stay here again.

Great house but smelled musty from being closed up. No fishing area like it said, to steep of an incline. Nothing to do in the area bc it had to be booked out like a month in advance or closed from flooding, no advertising saying closed, so wasted time and gas going to these place. Wish there was more to do in the house

Nolan Lake House Review

Lovely location and easy communication with host. Listing a bit outdated on VBRO, ie we never could find the ironing board) and google maps references had wrong address. Sleeps 8 but we did not see dishes for 8. Cooking utensils were flimsy. Hot water heater is small, having to wait between showers. Overall 3.4 to 4 star. Would stay there again.

Birthday Weekend

Beautiful lake view. Property was close to all the caves we wanted to tour and there were plenty of nice places to eat near Cave City and Park City. Nice relaxing weekend.
