Extremely disappointing and misleading
I chose this property because it advertised a 12 p.m. check-in, which was important because it was my husband’s birthday. We were camping nearby, and I wanted to surprise him with a comfortable place to cook a special meal, have cake, and enjoy a jacuzzi.
Unfortunately, there was almost no communication from Cinnamon Bear Management. I tried calling and emailing with no response and had to contact Expedia to confirm my reservation. I later discovered the check-in was actually 4 p.m., not noon.
When we arrived, the property was very old, musty, worn, and poorly maintained. The furniture and décor looked decades old, the rugs were extremely dirty, and the blanket on the bed was old and full of holes.
The biggest disappointment was the pool and jacuzzi. The pool area was under construction, the pool was partially filled, and there was no jacuzzi—one was actually being built. Cinnamon Bear Management told me there was another jacuzzi and directed me to walk about half a mile to find it. I couldn't find it, and when I called again, I was told the representative had never even been there and didn't know where it was.
I asked Cinnamon Bear Management to help us find another unit, but they refused because we booked through Expedia. Expedia ultimately helped us find another hotel after I spent an hour on the phone with them.
We stayed less than two hours and they still charged us, luckily we disputed and got our money back.
