We were all very pleased with this condo. On the blue bud route and only a few minute ride to the village gondola center and canyon lodge, with covered parking, and an updated interior, and a pellet stove, as well as great views of the eastern Sierra mountains to the south. We’ve never been to Mammoth but we’d definitely stay here again!
We travel internationally, and though I have begun to shy away from rentals which can be unpredictable and book luxury hotels, this stay was a game changer! Beautifully appointed, immaculate and so cozy. We will definitely book again, so I guess I should reconsider my great review! Oh well - hope you enjoy as much as we did
We were all had a great stay in Mammoth and could not have been more pleased with the place. Everything was as we needed it and the location was perfect. The check in/check out was very easy and I would definitely go again.
This house was the perfect size for our family. It is located very close to Canyon, but unfortunately (in April), the snow was bad. We'd definitely stay here again!
My family stayed at this lovely condo a few weeks ago. Very tastefully furnished & comfortable. New & modern feeling with beautiful kitchen & appliances. It is just a perfect place to stay. We hope to return in the future!
We truly enjoyed our amazing 3 days at this property. Kids asked if we could do it every year 😊. Location was great, property was super clean. Had trouble getting emails from property management but they continued to follow up and assist. Thanks for creating a memorable holiday vacation!!
We wanted a view of the outdoors and not just a view of another building and all the windows in the main room offered just that. We enjoyed lounging on the couch and watching the fire and snow fall. We were there during a huge snow storm and the complex did a great job clearing the driveway.
Well kept and well appointed. On the expensive end compared to other places we stayed this season in the same area (otherwise would be 5 stars). Check out list and ticky tack charges also puts a bit of a damper on the stay. But otherwise would recommend.

(1 star)This was one of the worst stays I’ve had. The primary heat source (pellet stove) repeatedly stopped working, and the thermostat was locked by the host. Despite multiple messages and requests to unlock the thermostat or properly fix the stove, the host was uncooperative and dismissive.We froze for two days. A technician briefly serviced the stove, but it failed again shortly after. The host continued to deny the issue and refused to provide a real solution. I documented everything with messages, photos, and videos.I stay in this area frequently and have never experienced anything like this. Basic heat in winter is non-negotiable. The lack of accountability and the way this was handled made the stay extremely uncomfortable and stressful.I would not recommend this property, especially in cold weather.
Great Condo with mountain view & nice location (*one item of note)
Overall this was an excellent condo - very well stocked & great location and view. The 2nd Bathroom does need to be updated (old tub & tile) and bathroom cleaning could have been better. Aside from that we would definitely rent this unit again!
The place is exactly as pictured and such a well thought out space! Some of my favorite things about it:
All the windows and natural light
The comfy bedding
There are SO MANY hook racks which make it so helpful with snow stuff and jackets
The little nook for snowboards/ski's helmets
The wood pellet fireplace was super fun to use didn't need any firewood
Underground parking
I would 100 percent stay here again it was the perfect layout and space for our family of three. Everything you could possibly need! Very highly recommend.
This condo is conveniently located, and updated nicely. It is thoughtfully appointed for ski gear with many hooks, etc. The linens are very nice, and the kitchen has everything you need. Although the hallway, exterior etc are dated we did not spend much time outside because of all of the snow. Just a note there are very specific check out rules that you are charged for if you do not follow which I found a little extreme. For example- if you do not start the dishwasher there is a charge, if you do not lock the windows there is a charge, etc..
The condo was clean and we enjoyed our stay. Great location close to canyon lodge and the village. Not much contact with rental company, but they did respond to emails in a timely manner. Would definitely stay again.
This condo was exactly as depicted-pictures and description are accurate. We enjoyed our stay very much. It was very comfortable. The pellet stove was very efficient at warming the living room. We may have been one of first guests to rent it-some appliances still have plastic covers. The Mountainback complex is great for its proximity to Canyon Lodge and the covered parking. This unit is in building 2, just off stop 77 on the Blue Line Shuttle. We would definitely rent again.
