About this property

Stay at Château Barracuda! 3/2 [sleeps 8-12] in Mammoth Lakes, Stylish & Bright!

  • Beautifully updated 1600 sq. ft. 3 br/2 ba condo, perfect for families, couples, or a group of friends. You'll love sitting by the fire & looking out the large windows at the Aspen trees all year long!

    Once you're here, you wont have to drive at all: head out the front door & you're right at stop 6 of the red line headed to the Village. Walk 1 block & take the green line to Eagle! This home is located in Old Mammoth, 1 block away from a brewery, great restaurants, the bowling alley, shopping, and the Town Lake bike path.

    General Information:
    Two-story end-unit condo in a well maintained, well-appointed complex. The downstairs consists of the entry with ample storage for snowboards, skis, fishing poles, bikes, and other adventure gear. Two of the three bedrooms are also downstairs, both with radiant ceiling heating: one contains a comfortable queen-sized bed, closet, dresser, a collapsible desk/work space, and large picture window.

    The second bedroom contains a roomy queen-over-queen bunk bed, as well as a twin daybed & matching twin trundle for additional guests. This bedroom offers an oversized closet, double dresser, a second Smart TV, separate access to the downstairs bathroom, and a set of sliding glass doors leading out to a small patio and backyard/open space...For families, this is the perfect kids room!

    The downstairs bathroom is also accessible from the hallway, and is adjacent to the guest-available, in-home washer/dryer.

    The upstairs level consists of the third (primary) bedroom with vaulted ceilings, a California king-sized bed, large closet, double dresser, oversized window, and another collapsible desk/work space for those of you needing to check emails between adventures.

    Walking up to the second floor, you'll find an open-concept kitchen, living room (complete with a very effective wood-burning stove/fireplace), dining room, and second full bathroom. This floor has vaulted ceilings, abundant natural light, and brand-new plush carpeting. The living room sectional couch has a pull-out full-sized bed for overflow sleeping!

    Just off the living room, you'll find another set of sliding glass doors leading out to a sizable deck with a full BBQ & firewood available for you and your guests.

    Please note: Additional guests over 8 permitted upon request; please message us at time of booking so we can accommodate. Make sure you thoroughly review the sleeping arrangements as 10+ people does get "cozy"!

    Please note: If booking for more than 8 guests, we will charge an additional $25 per person per day. This goes directly to the additional housekeeping costs we incur for parties of 8+. This will be a separate charge sent by the host.

    Guest access:
    The Mammoth trolley picks up right outside the complex - 100 feet from the front door in either direction. Check out the Transit App on your smart phone for shuttle routes, timelines, and live tracking. The schedule is also posted at each shuttle stop.

    Want to smell that fresh air? You can also easily walk anywhere in Old Mammoth!

    We will send you a code for the front door prior to your check-in time, and there are 2 parking spots allotted, with offsite parking nearby for additional vehicles.

    Other things to note: There will be a $500 fine imposed for violating our expressly stated no-pet policy. Please respect this rule in our home.
