Discovery 4 #125 2 Bedroom 2 Bath

Bring your family or friends to Mammoth and take advantage of the accommodations this unit has to offer. This is a 2 bedroom/2 bath condominium complete with a full size kitchen and separate dining area; definitely a home away from home! After a day of venturing the town of Mammoth and its main attractions, this condo is perfect for relaxation and comfort!

Maximum Occupancy: Discovery 4 Unit #125 sleeps up to 6 people.

Bed Arrangement: The master bedroom has a very comfortable queen size bed and a small TV with a private bath and shower. There are full size bunks beds (new mattress in Oct 2017) and a queen size bed in the second bedroom.

Unit Amenities: The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking appliances and is ready to use; no need to dine out! The deck is stacked with dry, seasoned firewood for your use in the wood stove. There is a full size bathroom with a tub, shower and separate vanity area. The living room has a TV and DVD with free wifi and cable and some movie channels (check channel 40 for all listings).

On site amenities: In the recreation room there are coin operated laundry machines, a pool table, video games, soft drinks, a ping pong table, and a small reading area. The jacuzzi and dry sauna are open year round. The pool is heated from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day weekend. Also for your enjoyment are gas barbecues located in the pool area all year long.

A Wonderful New Year's Stay at Mammoth Mountain

We recently had the pleasure of staying in a two-bedroom condo near Mammoth Mountain Resort over the New Year holiday, and it was an experience worth sharing. From the moment we booked our stay, the ease and convenience were apparent. The highlight of our trip was the magical snowfall in the middle of the week, transforming the landscape into a winter wonderland, perfect for skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts. The condo itself was a delight. Nestled close to the resort, its location couldn't have been more convenient for us. We had easy access to all the resort's amenities, and the proximity to the ski lifts was a major plus. This made our daily excursions to the slopes effortless and allowed more time for enjoyment. Inside, the condo was cozy and well-appointed, with enough space to comfortably accommodate our group. The bedrooms were warm and inviting, offering a much-needed retreat after a day in the snow. The living area was spacious, perfect for gathering, sharing meals, and enjoying each other's company. One aspect that stood out was the customer service. Having a friendly and easily reachable human on the phone whenever we needed assistance was reassuring. Whether it was for quick questions about the area or needing help with the condo, the staff was always available and eager to help, adding a personal touch to our stay. Great location!

Great place to stay. Good sized condo with two bathrooms. We had a great time in Mammoth. The condo is less than 5 minutes from the village. This condo is on the first floor and you can hear every footstep from the folks upstairs. That’s many of the dishes in the cupboards were dirty with food stuck on them were the only issues we had

Good set up for family of 4 or 5, condo was very well stocked with necessities for cooking, had everything needed including coffee filters, foil, Saran Wrap, seasonings, good selection and sizes pots and pans, only thing missing was dish washing sponge. Place was on surface clean but needed some deep cleaning (carpet cleaning, cob webs). Overall met our needs and place was as described and expected and good value,

Welcome back to the 80’s

Condo was very clean but very dated. It reminded me of places we stayed in the late 80’s. Super retro, kinda fun in a way but seriously I’m need of an update. Management company was very responsive and helpful. Location is good but was not easy to walk to Canyon or Eagle, so we ended up driving. The wood burning fireplace was great. The master shower is tiny. Honestly for what we paid I’m not sure I’d stay again but we had a good time.

Reviewer Comments: I took my teen son and his friend up to Mammoth for MLK weekend so they could snow board. Because we were driving from Los Angeles, we didn’t arrive until after the office was closed and it was dark out. I was nervous but we easily found the rental office and used the lock box to easily find our keys, map and parking pass. The condo was great—the boys had their own bathroom and separate beds. The kitchen had everything we needed. There was a whole enclosed deck filled with firewood. It was an easy walk to Canyon Lodge and the lifts. Really great experience overall!

Very nice place to stay for a ski trip to Mammoth

The unit was excellent. Perfect location near the Village and Canyon Lodge. The check in process was seamless and the unit was extremely clean and organized. The room configuration was perfect for our family (3 children who shared the second bedroom and each got their own bed). The only very slight negative was that the woman at the management office at the complex wasn’t very helpful and seemed annoyed by my questions. But overall, fantastic!

Good place for skiing

We had 5 adults and fit very comfortably! It was nice to have a full kitchen and fire place. It was also convenient to be able to walk to canyon lodge through it was a bit tiring to walk uphill before a full day on the slopes (the way back was easier as long as the roads are clear). Overall I think the listing is accurate- we had a great time!

Communication with Property mgr was lacking details. Unit old and dated, however acceptably clean. Mattress in Master bdrm was hard and quite uncomfortable. Shower in Master Bath was like showering in a small RV. This was a ground floor unit and noise from top unit VERY noisy. Location was close to Canyon Lodge and convenient.

Was hoping to stay in the Village but this location was great.

We had a great time and ended up staying in and cooking our dinners each night in this cozy condo. It is conveniently close to Canyon Lodge where we skied out of so that was a plus. Overall my family and I had a great time and would go back again.

Very comfortable and well equipped

We had a wonderful stay. The condo was very clean, quiet and well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed (as with most condos, bring all your own paper goods). Note that unit #125 is on the back side facing Lake Mary Road (a little tricky to find in the dark). The only reason it didn't get 5 stars was that the mattresses could have been better. We would stay again.
