Hello, Nancy. We are so sorry that you were disappointed. We pride ourselves on making our place top notch and very comfortable for our guests. Our many top reviews, grateful and happy guests over the years speaks for itself. I feel like the biggest reason for your disappointment may be more about the issue with the damage to our property that occurred during your stay (the permanent scratches left on our range top that we discussed). It is too bad that we could not come to some kind of compromise or agreement for the cost of replacement of our range top. The actual cost of repair is definitely not an inexpensive amount but as we discussed we were completely willing to help out with that cost and work together on a solution to resolve the damage. We are disappointed that you were unwilling to work with us on this but also that you felt unfairly treated regarding all of this. It was also difficult to know your feeling on all of this in a timely manner after it had occurred because even after many different attempts to reach out to you, unfortunately there was no response from you. VRBO advised us to request the damages amount at that point. We will plan to replace the range top as it is permanently damaged and we do pride ourselves in keeping our unit in great shape for our guests. We hoped not to have to incur that cost on our own but it is most important to us to keep our place in good condition for our guests. Accidents do happen and we understand that helping with the cost of repairs can be a hardship.

Hi Tim! Thanks for your feedback… we want all of our guests to be 100% happy and comfortable!! The timeframe you all stayed we actually had some shifting of our cleaning crews at that time and apparently some things got missed but just know that is not the norm for us at all! Because of the high demand for replacement light bulbs with the very busy Winter Mammoth has had our crew said they hadn’t been able to get a few bulbs replaced in time but all is good now and we thank you for that helpful note. As for the DIRECTV the blizzard tends to knock out the reception of the satellite dish in The Village and we do not have any control on that, unfortunately. It usually comes back within a day or so when the HOA is able to correct that and shovel snow drifts from the roof area where the dish is located. We have now installed three new smart TVs in our unit so no more satellite issues!! Hope you all can come and stay again soon! We will be putting all new flooring in the unit this Fall!
