This immaculately clean Deluxe One Bedroom Condo at The Monache in The Village at Mammoth not only has the best location in town, but also the most luxurious amenities. It's located on a high floor and comes with a living room, dining area, kitchenette, and patio. There are all the amenities you can imagine, including the amazing White Bark Restaurant and Lounge. We are steps away from dozens of restaurants, bistros, and shops, but nestled quietly up amongst the trees. But best of all, right downstairs you can catch the Gondola to the Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort. No more lugging your skis, boards and boots into your car, hunting for parking at the resort, and trudging for a mile to the ski lifts. Just park your vehicle in the underground parking garage, use our private ski locker at the base of the gondola, and never use your car for the rest of your stay!
*** We have rented a full locker at the base of the Village Gondola for this unit so that you don't have to carry your gear up or down any stairs.... get ready in the locker room and then simply take the elevator directly to the gondola level! ***

Check in is super easy. No need to find a rental company office late at night to collect the keys - there is a lockbox right outside our front door. Lockbox combination, wifi passwords and a Welcome Email and Guidebook with recommendations will be sent to you before arrival. Check out is a breeze, just leave your keys and parking permit on the counter before you go.
HOUSE RULES Pet Fee is $50/night. VRBO bookings: traveler must include it in their reservation. All others: bookings will be charged separately.

That means that you have access to our help, knowledge base, expertise, and anything you may need 24/7. We both have all the apps loaded on our phones and laptops, so we will respond to any questions you may have immediately. A hotel has hundreds of other guests vying for the services, beauty, resources, and "exclusivity" of the property. Please leave PARKING PASS + 2 keys on counter. MUST BE LEFT BY 11AM, AND NOT TAKEN FOR USE DURING THE SKI DAY. KEYS NOT ON COUNTER ARE $50/KEY AND PARKING PASS $250 IF NOT LEFT BY 11AM.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Rules
We allow up to two pets. There is a $50+tax per night fee (it's still only $50/night if there are two pets).
Late Checkout: For checkouts after 11am, a double cleaning fee and an additional night will be charged (which can be much more if a weekend/holiday).
Lost Key/Parking Pass: If you lose the parking pass or return it after 11am, a $250 fee will be charged for the parking pass and $50 for the key.

Great condo with all the amenities in just about the most convenient location there could be. Steps from the gondola to Canyon Lodge or restaurants in The Village. The hosts took great care of us. I would certainly book again.
We had a wonderful stay in the super-clean, comfortable, well-equipped property. Michaela was extremely-helpful and always responded within minutes. The Monache is a gorgeous property- we loved the pool and jacuzzi. You will love your stay here!
Came to enjoy the remainder of the Fall colors. Thoroughly enjoyed exploring the scenic loops and beautiful lake and mountain views. Town was exceptionally quiet since the mountain doesn’t open for another 10 days. So perfectly relaxing. Place was great, location perfect, staff very friendly, communication with Michaela was on point. Place is clean and cozy. Highly recommend.
Clean and comfortable room in the Westin Monache. It was great to have a/c. The kitchen is small but all we needed. Nice balcony to relax on. The pool is great and at a perfect temp. Easy parking and quick elevators. The location is steps from the free trolley and shuttle stops and just steps from the Village lift, rentals, restaurants and events. The owner was extremely helpful and quickly replied and fixed a small issue. We will gladly rent this unit any time of year.
This location was ideal for the Mammoth Grand Fondo. The start and finish line are right at the base of the property. The unit size and layout made for a comfortable and convenient stay. It was clean and well appointed. Check-in is simple and the instructions clearly communicated. Covered parking is a great amenity. Michaela's communication from booking to checkout was excellent. Proximity to the Village was a big plus.

My wife, the dogs and I had a wonderful experience in this 1 bedroom condo within the Westin Monache Resort in Mammoth. It was exactly what we were looking for. A reasonably priced, dog-friendly, clean roomy condo, with great views, in the perfect location. The property is conveniently located across the street from Mammoth Village where you can enjoy live music, catch a gondola ride to check out the views from the mountaintop above, drink and dine at multiple restaurants and bars, or spend some time shopping for souvenirs at multiple shops. There are also biking and hiking trails close by. Michaela was a great hostess, and responded to my messages right away and was very helpful. There is nothing I would change about my experience, other than bringing our bikes to enjoy all the bike trails the next time we visit.

The room was all we could ask for except when we wanted to use the balcony or just open the door to the balcony for fresh air, the construction outside was very loud and disturbing.
Great pet friendly location. Central to shopping and sport activities. Very quiet! Never heard another guest! The condo was very well appointed and comfortable. Only negatives for me were no freezer/oven and the biggest negative was that the sheets were 100% polyester. I’m a bit of a sheet snob and need 100% cotton. Would definitely return to this property and I’d bring my own sheets. I have a 4 for cleanliness because I felt the floors could have been cleaner. Great place!
