"This house was perfect for our small family getaway. It was so comfortable for our teenager, 2 dogs, and my husband and I to enjoy the views from the deck, prep meals in the well-stocked kitchen, and enjoy the inside space with comfortable seating and table large enough for both meals and family board games. We look forward to returning to stay again in the future! "

"Would definitely stay at property again. Would select a different unit. Unit that we stayed in had an adjacent wall and you could hear your neighbors. Beautiful views. Would work with property directly. Had issues with third party and connecting with property."

"The property is super pet friendly and the staff were extremely nice and not to mention welcoming! We had such an amazing trip; the views from our cabin were spectacular. We had the perfect amount of space in our cabin for two people and two dogs, and loved the option to have a cup of coffee or a glass of wine on our own little deck. We can’t wait to stay again! We will absolutely be back. "

"Our stay at Fox Kit Cottage in March was exceptional! The house was clean, well equipped and perfect for a girls’ weekend getaway. Loved sitting on the deck overlooking the surf looking for migrating whales. The hot tub was a great way to relax after spending the day in Wine Country or hiking at Armstrong Woods. Our host, Beth, was very friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with. Loved the beach access from Duncan’s Landing and the landscaping around the house was amazing! I would definitely recommend Fox Kit Cottage without any reservations and only wish I lived closer so I could come back again soon!!"

"We left a valuable item behind and are so thankful that MamaK retrieved it for us and worked it out with us to retrieve it. We really appreciate that Karen Its a very cozy place. What’s not to like when you are lounging in the outdoor clawfoot bathtub, at 7am, listening to cows, a rooster and lots of birds, as deer saunter by in the yard. The hot tub was very clean and the unit was very well provisioned. Uniquely and tastefully decorated. We head to the area at least once a year but have never stayed in Duncan Mills but this will be our go to place from now on. And by the way, visit the bakery there, the baker there bakes up super good pastries and stuffed lunch croissants "

"Spacious house, beautiful landscape full of ferns moss redwoods Japanese maples, and a yard full of banana slugs. We found 25! The hot tub was clean and inviting. The beds were extremely comfortable. Fantastic gas stove and Weber barbecue. Great place to stay."

"This was our fourth (maybe fifth!) stay at Surfscape, and we will definitely be back again, hopefully soon . The house sits right above the ocean, where the powerful waves crash against the rocks and create the most soothing, unforgettable sound. The fresh salty air, the ever-changing ocean views, and the mesmerizing sunsets can be enjoyed from inside the house or out on the deck…just magical. Fun to go down to the tide pools…practically your own private beach. Never disappoints, always gets better with Pierre’s extra touches! The stars at night are not to be missed. With little light from other sources the stars seem to be right on top of the house. Almost 200 degrees of view you can easily see the shooting star once in a while. "
