This hotel is in an excellent location, just near the shopping areas and gold souk. It has food options as well as mini supermarket. It is a very safe and bustling area and there are lots of things to do. The hotel itself is lovely, clean and modern. The room was spacious and had all facilities as expected. Only issue I noted was that the shower door requires a better seal on the bottom of the door so that water does not seep out into the main bathroom floor when having a shower.

Disappointed

I am very disappointed with Rotana. They downgraded my confirmed and paid booking with a promised refund that never materialised. I specifically requested a non-smoking room and was surprised on check-in that the room was stinking of smoke. They kept telling me theybare contacting hotels.com and kept postponing until I checked out. Also, unfortunately the room was they put us in, we had concern with the bathroom cleanliness.

Excellent location. Excellent room service. Iconic building. Fitness centre fantastic. Muhammed in fitness centre was very nice and well spoken in English. Manager Daryl was very helpful. Help us with early check in in minutes. Requested higher floor. Changed in minutes. Definitely will be back.
