The view was spectacular. I would stay at this place again just for the view. The hotel itself was very outdated.

We stayed in the basic cabins and they were so cute! Very clean and cozy, there was a heater in the room so it was super nice! The bathrooms never felt too busy and were clean!

Unexpected in a good way. Cabin was very comfortable, clean, and large. A great place for free spirited travellers to get away. The best part was the wonderful hospitality from the owner. I would gladly return to the Possum Lodge.

Great place to stay by the lake, very comfortable and had everything we needed. The hosts were there to welcome us when we arrived which was nice. Great to have laundry after camping!

We really enjoyed our stay here but the layout is definitely different. It is not for people with mobility issues but otherwise it is great. It is very small not many options for food although Te Anau is 20 mins away, by car, with many options. It is close to the embarkation point for Doubtful Sound cruises, walking distance, which was excellent, a beautiful trip.
