Very nice updated / modernized 3 bedroom house in quiet neighborhood.

We were pleasantly surprised with our stay as this was our first time using Vrbo for vacation. The house was very clean, plenty of towels and comfortable beds. We were 3 couples and ate most of our meals in the house. We brought most of our meals prepared from home and just heated them up. We would stay there again and our host answered all our questions promptly.

Very responsive and helpful host. Very clean property. Safe and convenient location in a quiet residential neighborhood with off street parking. Kitchen wares were sufficient, but not extensive, if you are planning on doing a lot of cooking during your stay. Highly recommend.

Great location , quiet neighborhood

This home was in a great neighborhood, nice and quiet part of town with easy access to the highway , shops, restaurants. The home is updated on the inside , relatively clean. TV remotes had dead batteries and there appears to be a bullet looking hole in the kitchen window . All rooms had window air conditioner units, 4th bed is in a remodeled porch area .

Pleasant stay, with helpful host

We had a nice stay, far from home. The only downsides were small compared to the fairness of the nightly rate. Floors were squeaky (due to the age of the duplex, I assume), not the best for light sleepers, and mattresses felt quite firm after our days spent walking. The staircase had us keeping a close eye on our toddler. The host responded promptly, when we asked about tv remote batteries. The area was quiet - we didn’t spot any neighbors out and about - so keeping doors and windows locked had us feeling safe.

Girlfriend week in the Hartford Area

We expected a house but it was a duplex. We didn’t hear a thing so it was fine and a very quiet neighborhood. Having 3 bedrooms up and a twin bed down was great! Ample closets, too. The bathroom downstairs was tiny but we made it work to share 2 up, 2 down. We got used to the window AC units. Beds and living rooms were comfortable. Big table in kitchen and the dishwasher, washer and dryer worked very well. Things were mostly clean, some kitchen and eating utensils need to be replaced but we made them work. A toaster would have been faster but the toaster oven worked ok.
