"Nous avons passé un très bon séjour au domaine Saint Jean , le cadre est calme et reposant avec la plage à côté , rocher d escalade et tyrolienne en plus de la salle de musculation et de jeux du site . "Medieval monastery converted to a beautiful hotel with loads of character and charm. Lovely grounds surrounding the hotel were ideal for afternoon picnics or reading under the shade of the massive pine trees. Great restaurant in-house with locally sourced menu. Every detail was perfect and the staff were brilliant. The surrounding Gorges du Tarn and Gorge de la Jonte were absolutely astounding. Great base for exploring the Cevennes. "

"I had organised to arrive after official check in hours, and the arrangements worked perfectly. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room had reasonably quiet customer controllable air conditioning. The room was very clean. Breakfast was extra at 10euros and was a continental style with bread, croissant, jams, yoghurt and compote. Plus hot drink and fruit juice. Little choice but tasty. My only dislike was that I had a room facing the street and it sounded like they rolled up the awning or similar of the cafe below at a very late hour and again in the morning - very noisy but at least it was completed fast."
