"This wasn’t my first stay at GVH, but it will almost certainly be my last. It was my first time staying solo, and the experience fell well below expectations. To give credit, the grounds appear well maintained since Hurricane Melissa. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. For the price I paid for three nights, the WiFi was completely unacceptable. Reliable internet is a basic expectation. I checked with the front desk multiple times and was assured it worked, it didn’t. Only at checkout was I told I’d been given the wrong details the entire time. The response was a casual apology and WiFi details for a “next stay,” which felt insulting. A partial refund would have been far more appropriate. I was also initially placed in a room where the air conditioning didn’t work and had to move. While the new room was close by, this change was not properly updated by the front desk. Therefore, at checkout I was met with looks suggesting I had accessed a room I shouldn’t have. That is not my responsibility. There are no lifts, so I had to call the front desk (using my own phone credit) for help with my luggage. Assistance was given, but it felt like an inconvenience to them. The front desk staff overall were dismissive and unhelpful, making basic interactions frustrating. Breakfast was underwhelming, standard but you could be better. Overall, very disappointing. For the price, I expected much better. Save your money, an Airbnb would likely offer better service and value!!"

"The property is not accurate. It was a scam. The house had no furniture, yard was in bush, house was unfinished.and when we got there house was in darkness. We got scammed, we never stayed there and had to find other accommodation."

"My stay at Mckay’s was amazing any issues we had it was resolved. The host was very helpful and considerate. Next time I go back I hope they have availability because I would definitely book them again. The place was in a very nice and quiet area not far from the town. "

"From the moment I booked the apartment, the property manager reached out and thanked me for choosing to stay. Information was provided for checking in and directions where shared. The PM answered all the questions I had. It was very easy to find the location, and the secured gated community with security gave a sense of security. The apartment was cute and provided just the right amount of space for our stay. The neighborhood was quiet. I would definitely stay here again and again."

"We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Premium Studio with Pool view at Avista Bloomfield was clean, comfortable and safe. We recommend this spot for your next visit.....we will be back. Parking was included and a large supermarket is in walking distance as well as full service gas stations for that late night snack. The town was also close by so we we able to get breakfast at Juici Patty and find delicious jerk chicken at night. Our room had a full kitchen with coffee, snacks and beverages and was equipped with utensils, plates etc.We loved it."
