La peor estancia de mi vida. Suciedad y miedo.

De las peores experiencias de mi vida. 1. Un día no hubo agua en las duchas en toda la tarde. 2. El desayuno era absurdo, 1 huevo y 1 trozo de pan. 3. Todo estaba demasiado sucio. Había hormigas y arañas en los azucareros. Los cubiertos estaban sucísimos. Daba bastante asco comer de ellos. Las habitaciones no se hacían ni se limpiaban nunca. 4. NO HAY NADIE TRABAJANDO DE NOCHE. De 10 de la noche a 8 de la mañana estás totalmente desamparado si pasa algo. En mi caso, entraron a robar en la habitación de al lado y yo fui la única que ayudó a la pobre chica que no paraba de llorar y gritar. Llamé a la policía. El dueño del hotel nos colgaba el teléfono y la gente que trabaja allí ni contestaba a la puerta al golpearles (entiendo que no trabajan de noche, pero aún así). Diré que el sitio es bonito, muy hippie y tranquilo. Sin embargo es sucio, sin organización o infraestructuras decentes ni seguridad. Tuve que marcharme un día antes ya que no pude dormir. Fue horrible.

It was close to the beach, but the maintenance and cleanliness of the place was a disaster especially our room. Fill of bugs, smelly, the bed was like wet, no tv, the bathroom was downstairs and I do not imagine how a drunk person will use the stairs to go up and down from the room to the bathroom. Now the customer service was awesome, the gave me back my money with no problem at all.

Pasamos un fin de semana muy agradable, justo hace un año, en el 2019. La cabaña para tres personas estuvo confortable, y con vista al mar desde el balcón, aunque estaba en planta baja. La arquitectura es rústica para los amantes como yo de la naturaleza. El personal estuvo bien atento y amigable. El plus del viaje fue que se escuchaba bien de cerca el sonido de las olas del mar. Fue una experiencia relajante a la hora de dormir. Totalmente regresaria a pasar un largo fin de semana otra vez.

I had casa #5 which was a stand alone unit with 3 beds, working AC and shower/bathroom downstairs. Properties are really well maintained. Walk to the heart of town is about a 10 min walk or less. Access is through a road that is the paved so can feel a bit dodgy if haven't been exposed to this sort of thing. The beach is ok but majority of the people hang out about a 8 min walk down the beach towards the center. Overall for the price it is a great deal. PS no English spoken here to have your translator handy

Great Beach Location

Great location on the beach and within walking distance of town. Our unit was a funky, beach cottage with good a/c and hot water shower. Beds were fine.

So happy with this place, I want to move there!

This is by far the cutest place I've stayed while traveling around Ecuador. I was put into a building with two rooms. Both had a lovely little terrace attached and faced the water (although hard to see because of the fencing around the complex). there are plenty of common areas to enjoy and it's just steps out onto the beach. It's a short stroll into Montanita and I walked it several times a day. I especially like being away from the main noise and action, but within an easy stroll if I wanted to get more excitement. I would stay here again. In fact, I'm planning on returning before I leave Ecuador.

Awesome place to stay.

This place was very laid back, friendly accomodating staff. I can't say anything negative about this place. Very close to the beach. Not for prissy peple. The other guests are also friendly. One couple just mentioned, ok time for a group photo and in no time we had a picture of everyone staying at the place. We liked it so much we are going back for the last 5 days of our vacation in Ecuador. A great place to finish off a 1 month vacation.
