This is my fourth time staying at this hotel. I've loved the Riviera Mansion Hotel since my first trip to Manila. The hotel staff greet me every morning, noon and night with a smile and are full of hospitality. I'm staying in a room with a bathtub for a week. The hotel is in an excellent location. Robinson's Place is just a 2-3 minute walk away. You can eat a variety of cuisines. There are also several Japanese restaurants nearby, and a convenience store nearby. Japanese expats in the Philippines also live and work at this hotel. It's very convenient to access Manila sightseeing from this hotel by using Grab taxi!!

The hotel itself is very nice. The staff were very accomodating. The restaurant is good service, good food. The only disappointing aspect was finding that EVERY DELUXE room has no view out the window as they are all on the back of the hotel.. Deluxe does not describe the window view, unless you think a big grey wall a couple feet away is a deluxe view. It was not mentioned on the website. If it were I may have upgraded. Overall, it's nice place to stay. But be careful on the streets after dark. You will encounter people on doorsteps of businesses and beggars all hours of the day. Most are not intrusive but still be careful.

The staff was accommodating and spoke English. The room was clean. There is a door handle tag to put on the outside of the door to let the housekeeping staff aware if you want them to clean your room. We didn’t figure that out until our 3rd day. They brought towels promptly after requested. There is a casino across the street and lots of young women entertainers that stand outside dressed provocatively at night. A short walk to 7eleven for last minute needs and an atm. A kareoke video bar if you turn left and walk a short distance was a fun experience with family. I would stay there again.
