Serene Retreat Near Mt Snow: Great for Groups!

"We spent three wonderful days with our extended family at this beautiful home and loved every minute of it! The house , an updated antique cape with a large modern addition, is charming and well laid out with plenty of room for everyone to relax and unwind. The kitchen and dining area are spacious and a great place to gather for conversation and meals. The home is well-stocked and comfortably furnished. Outside there are several large flagstone patios and an amazing pool in a very pretty setting. The water is crystal clear and perfect for swimming. The property is sited on 200 acres so there's lots of privacy and several trails for hiking through the woods. Even better are the lovingly maintained gardens surrounding the house--beautiful flowers beds set amid stone walls and large oak trees. Last but not least is the incredible view. From the house you can see for miles and miles, across the Green Mountains, the valleys, all the way to Mount Monadnock in the far distance. You have to see it to believe it! Overall a truly special place for our family to spend a few days in southern Vermont."

"We had a great stay, the owners were super accommodating. It was clean and beautiful and comfortable. The only reason I put 4 stars instead of 5 is there were 5 of us staying. The pictures show a bedroom downstairs that has a queen sized bed and a bunk bed. The queen bed was swapped out for a couch when we were there so one of us ended up on the pull out couch. You also may want to bring a few pots and pans if you're cooking for a group."

"Charming apt in Vermont barn on the loveliest country road yet minutes away from Brattleboro. The interior was sparkly clean and so wonderfully done-so comfortable and so much space! I can’t say enough good things about this lovely place! I so enjoyed getting up in the morning and walking my dog down the road which is like walking in the woods with occasional clearings and beautiful farmland. Brianna was really responsive and helpful when we asked about where we might kayak. We will DEFINITELY be back!!!!"
