Quaint Cabin with Stone Fireplace - Private Hot Tub - King Bed

A quaint, cozy little cabin set on 60 wooded acres perfect for a couples getaway. Only 8 minutes to a great downtown for shopping unique boutiques, dining, local wineries, breweries and a distillery! Enjoy peace & tranquility in natures setting that surrounds you. Cozy up to a massive stone wood burning fireplace both inside and on the screened in porch. The brand new private hot tub boasts natural spring water and is just outside the door from the cabin and overlooks the natural spring ponds. Comfortable occupancy for 3 people. Best suited for 2 or 3 adults, or parents with 1-2 children. Have more guests? Now you can add on our luxury canvas 15' bell tents set up right next to the cabin! They come fully furnished with real beds (not air mattresses) from twin size to queen size. Please inquire for more details.

Please make sure to read through our entire listing as important information about your visit is listed here. We do our best to describe our cabin and property in the most detailed and accurate information to ensure a 5 star positive guest experience.

Owners live onsite, and our home is across the yard separated by some landscaping and can be seen from the cabin. We give guests complete privacy but are available should you need anything!

The cabin is nestled in a "Hidden Valley" down a long 1/4 mile steep and winding but beautiful driveway. It is steep and windy with a hillside on one side and a ravine on the other. The driveway is partially paved and also filled with gravel and asphalt grindings as needed for maintenance. If you go slow you will be just fine. Winter months may require only a 4WD. If temps are frigid, we close the cabin. If you book during Winter months, we keep an eye on the 10 day forecast. If temps are too cold or snow is severe, you can cancel penalty free with 100% refund due to weather (during Winter months only)

If you park in the driveway it is exactly 39 yards (or 117 feet) to walk to the front stoop of the cabin. If this is a concern you are welcome to park directly in front of the cabin door with wide and easy access to pull around and exit when the ground is dry. This isn't possible during rain or snow. Our property and drive resemble places like Hocking Hills or the Mohican State Park area but not as hilly as the mountains of West Virginia! If you are afraid to drive in the rolling hills of places like these, our cabin is not for you.

The cabin sits just feet away from the naturally spring fed pond which keeps it looking crystal clear and is great for swimming or fishing. The sandy beach offers a great place to lounge by the waters edge. We also stock it with bluegill, bass, catfish and crappie- a throwback rule applies. The cottage is an open floor plan so the beds are in a "common space" with no bedrooms or doors but the large bathroom is private. We have one King Size bed and one Twin sleeper sofa. The cabin has a wonderful large stone fireplace inside & outside on the screened porch, bonfire pit, full kitchen, Satellite TV, Flat Screen Smart TV, Blu Ray DVD, wireless speakers, cellphone charging stations, movies, board games, bocce ball, yard dice & fast Wifi.

UPDATED FIREPLACE RULES! We have a wood burning fireplace. Due to recent damages and neglecting to close the safety screens, we must ask that you only burn "Duraflame" logs in the fireplace and you must close the safety screens at all times and never leave the fireplace unattended. No exceptions. We do not provide these, but you can purchase them at nearby stores like Walmart or hardware stores. Thanks for understanding and keeping our cabin and yourself safe.

A self check in time is anytime 3pm or after. Check out is promptly by 10 am. We do need time in between guests to prepare so an early check in or a late check out cannot be accommodated. Please respect our check in and check out times. We strive to maintain a 5 star guest experience and the time in between guests is much needed to clean and prepare for the perfect stay!

Cant wait to visit again!
Hidden Valley Cabin is lovely and Jenny is an amazing host that doesnt miss any detail. Very clean, equipped with everything you could think of. The hot tub was wonderful and we were able to cook out of the grill provided. We definately plan to visit again so we can utilize the pond and walk the property.

Great Weekend Getaway
My son and I stayed to celebrate his 10th birthday and we couldn't have asked for a better spot! Quiet, serene, and cozy (it rained most of the time and we didn't mind a bit, just lit a fire and watchedmovies). Tbanks for hosting, I will be back with my husband for a getaway soon

Father/Son Retreat
Booked for a Father/Son Retreat for 2 nights. Communication with property owner (Jenny) was excellent before and during our stay. Everything was accurately pictured, but looked so much more amazing in person! The pond and property are what initially drew me into looking at and booking this property, but the cabin/cottage was GREAT! It was so peaceful and very comfortable with everything you need (and then some) with very thoughtful touches and good decor (which my wife would appreciate and notice much more than me : ) but I thought it was cool and creative). I plan on bringing my wife back here for a getaway. My son and I had a great time fishing and catching bluegill and bass (and frogs) and going out on the boat/kayak. We also enjoyed watching the hummingbirds (I've never seen so many at one time). This booking definitely exceeded my expectations and it was a pleasure getting to meet and talk to the owners. Thank you so much!!!

Relaxing Stay
Very cozy property. Looks just like photos in listing. Owners are just across yard, but only saw Jenny when we got there and when we left. Wooster is a charming town with a Saturday morning farmer’s market. Worth exploring.
