Check-in was easy and they worked with me when I arrived earlier than expected. The room was huge, clean, and more than adequate. This is the 2nd time I've stayed here and will definitely be back. It's very convenient to the Outer Banks and Alligator River NWR so it's perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, birders (like me!), and wildlife photographers.

Property was hard to find in the dark a bigger lighted sign would help. Parking is tight if a person with a large truck parks beside you. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. Bed was comfy. I will go back if I need a port in a storm again

We stay here a couple of times per year when we visit the Outer Banks. It is always welcoming and clean, and convenient to everything in Manteo. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms and bathrooms with nice coastal decor. Also loe the outdoor fire pit and tiki bar and the old fashioned front porch with rope swings.
