    Gray Whale Cove is located on a quiet street about four blocks from the beach. You will find this charming home is perfect for a romantic getaway or a small family's weekend. Aptly named, this cute cottage is decorated with whale art on the walls and whale knickknacks throughout.



    As soon as you step through the door, you will fall in love with the style of this home. The open floor plan has an inviting ambiance, wood floors, and a comfortable living room with a brick fireplace that's perfect to snuggle in front of on those chilly nights. The kitchen is open and perfect for carrying on conversations with your family while preparing a delicious meal. The dining area opens onto a lovely deck. The two bedrooms are off the living room. When you step outside into the delightfully decorated backyard you will feel all your worries melt away. Enjoy the backyard with its lounge chairs and delightful rock patio. Make sure you bring your lovely family dogs as well to this dog-friendly home.

The kids had fun and they loved the yard, the kitchen was easy to use and the beds were comfortable. We loved the decor too. We hope to visit again.

Dog Friendly House

We enjoyed our stay. It was nice having a fully fence patio/yard to let the dog out in the mornings and while we ate dinner on the deck. House was in easy walking distance to beach and village.

December in Manzanita

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gray Whale Cove. The home is cute and cozy. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay in Manzanita. Quiet neighborhood. Loved being able to walk to town or the beach. We'd definitely stay here again for future visits to the coast.

We spent another wonderful time at the Gray Whale Cove! Not only were we so impressed with the garden, but how clean and well appointed the property is. Such a lovely environment and great location, I barely used my car all week. Looking forward to returning with my dog in the future.

Nice Beach House

This is the second year that I've stayed in this home and found it to be very comfortable. Love the backyard and all the flowers. The kitchen is well appointed and there was never anything that we needed that wasn't found in the home.

Lovely home

Beautiful, warm decor, fully stocked kitchen, best back yard of any place we’ve ever stayed. Location can’t be beat, near beach, groceries, eateries, coffee. Slight glitch in door lock brought immediate response. Fireplace produces stunning effects. Furniture and beds very comfortable

Comfy getaway

Really cute, sits quietly in a residential area. It’s a homey house, well stocked kitchen, within walking distance to anywhere in Manzanita. Few minutes walk to the beach. For me I need my space and find it would be comfortable for two maybe, three people tops. Bathroom is cute but tiny. I travel alone so it was perfect for me. I plan to return. Love Manzanita!

Manzanita Four Night Stay

This is a lovely small home in Manzanita in a quiet and walkable neighborhood. A leisurely 10 minute walk will get you 'downtown' and a 15 minute walk to the beach. House is comfortable, well equipped, with wonderful outdoor seating. Or stay indoors with the cozy gas fireplace. Had a friend come stay for one night too. Plenty of room. Loved how peaceful it all was! 'Move in' ready!

Great, Little Place!

Manzanita is my happy place. I love the beach, shops, restaurants, farmer's market, the quiet and the roar of the ocean. This home is close to everything. It is well-stocked and clean. Everything worked. It was quiet. I have a small dog and I appreciated the fenced backyard, although part of that fence is an old door you have to put out on the deck. It served the purpose because my dog isn't very big. The backyard is very nicely landscaped and would be a great spot to sit and relax, if you have the time. Our visit was only 2 nights. With only two bedrooms and one bathroom, it isn't meant for a crowd. For my sister and me, it was perfect.

Wonderful birthday weekend in Manzanita!

The house was so nice! The beds have the most comfortable mattresses. The house and yard were so sweet to stay in. I highly recommend this house for your next trip to the coast! We also loved all the whales!

Great house. Well stocked, clean and comfortable. Close to downtown and short walk to beach. The door locks are confusing, but once solved we had a great time. Beautiful private back yard.

A cozy place on the Oregon coast

Our family stayed 3 nights in Manzanita. Great location to explore up and down the coast. Nice spot in town, close to grocery and shops and restaurants. Very clean and cozy!
