On the beach, at the foot of majestic Neahkahnie mountain rests your family's dream get away. Our completely remodeled, beautiful 6 bedroom 4.5 bath home sleeps up to 17 comfortably. You can enjoy unobstructed views of the ocean and Neahkahnie mountain throughout the home. A spectacular 7 mile beach is accessible out the back door. Collect sand dollars and drift wood, bird watch and enjoy the surf as you take a leisurely stroll down the beach to the nearby village of Manzanita. When you enter our home you will be inspired by the vaulted ceilings, the fireplace and the spectacular view. The expansive kitchen has a large dining table perfect for sunset dinners for the whole family. Kids will love the bunkroom! The home is equipped with televisions, DVD players, wireless internet, comfortable mattresses and luxurious linens.

We’ve stayed here several times and it’s always great. The home is immaculate when we arrive. If the weather’s good, you’re right at the beach. If the weather is too Oregon-y, there’s plenty of room to spread out in the home. We look forward to our trip every year.

We had 16 family members visiting Manzanita for a Celebration of Life. This house was perfect for our large group: all of us were able to eat at the table together, the ground-level bedrooms were helpful for those who could not climb stairs, the bunk bed room was great for the young adults, and the wifi was strong enough for several people to work at the same time. Everyone agreed this was the best beach house we've stayed in.

Beautiful Coastal Home

We’ve stayed at this property several times and we’ve loved it every time. It’s right on the ocean but if the weather is not cooperating, the house is plenty big enough to spread out in. Always spotless when we arrive and the owner is always available for any questions or concerns. We hope to stay there many more times.

Exceptional location & house!

This property is expensive, but with 6 bedrooms it's an amazing place to host a large group. And it's located as close to the beach as you can get, with a big backyard where kids can play! We've stayed here multiple times and always found the owner to be responsive and super helpful.

We had a group of 7 ladies, what an amazing location! Beautiful views from all rooms, large deck and patio area, beach access for walking or swimming. Close to amazing hiking. Comfortable and clean, everything you need is on property and in the house. Hosts were responsive and kind and great to work with.

Wonderful stay for the whole family!

The beach is steps away and the 7 grandkids had a wonderful time, flying kites, building sand castles, blowing bubbles, and playing ladder toss. The adults enjoyed evenings around the fire pit. The house was well appointed and roomy! We had 19 people ranging in age of 18 months to 64 years and everyone enjoyed the stay! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This beautiful house graciously accommodated our extended family of 11, giving space and place for everyone, together or apart. It's close proximity to Manzanita, either by car or by foot on the beach was a real plus, as were the hikes up Niahkahnie Mountain.

Amazing home on the beach

We LOVED this home for our large family. It was clean, very well equipped, and has a wonderful layout for multiple families. Our week together was amazing and the hosts have thought of nearly everything including beach towels, a warm water hose to wash off sandy toes, umbrellas and kites, lawn games, and a fully equipped kitchen to handle a crowd. We would absolutely rent this home again if we return to the area.

This house is spacious, beautiful, has comfy beds, and a super location!

We had a big family get-together. There was plenty of space for everyone. The number of bathrooms is a plus. you can walk right down to the beach easily. If was just perfect for a large group. The house and property is very well kept. Communication with the owner was easy. We plan to stay here again!

Wedding weekend

My son got married I Manzanita on Sept 21st. Many family and friends stayed in this rental. The home was beautiful, and so well appointed! The weather was so beautiful we spent lots of time in the yard on the beach. Pictures dont do it justice!

Beautiful Rain or Shine

We enjoyed our stay here for Spring Break with a total of three families (2 kids each). The bunk room was enjoyed by the kids and the spread of the house made it nice for the early and late risers. The kitchen is well equipped and the yard is a nice space to fly kites or just run around with the kids. We really enjoyed our time here with easy access to the water. We will be back again next year.

Third year of family gathering; outstanding

Our family of 14 had a great week here (our third). The house works well for all ages; the kids love the yard for games, and when inside the house just flows from dining to kitchen to living room with enough room for all. Every cooking utensil and dish available for large scale meals. This year plenty of hot water with improvement; new grill was nice. We have booked for next year.

You never know what a rental is going to be like and until you actually get there… This one looks really nice online and loved that it had beachfront property. When we arrived there we were even more pleased with the house as it is beautiful on the inside and the outside. The house was perfectly clean and smelled fresh. The linens were fresh and clean, and the kitchen had an abundant supply of pots and pans and utensils to cook! We could not have been more pleased with our stay!

Beautiful home with amazing views!

We stayed with our family, 3 daughters and their husbands, 3 Grandbabies all under 3 years old and 2 great grandmothers. The home was clean and supplied with everything you needed. They even had a high chair and baby gate. Plenty of room for everyone! Amazing views and access to the beach. Just a short walk down the street made for easy sand beach access for the grandmothers. Loved it!! Thank you!!

Amazing weekend Getaway

We have stayed at beach rentals on Memorial Day weekend for the last 18yrs. This home was the best!! Beautiful, clean and it had everything we needed including plenty of space. We had a total of 9 family members, ages from 15 yrs to 74yrs. Everyone had more than enough room. The kitchen and dining room were huge and very well stocked. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were clean and had soap, shampoo and conditioner! The backyard was lovely with room to toss a football or kick around a soccer ball. The beach is just steps away. We built a fire, flew kites and had an amazing weekend. The communication with the host was superb, very responsive and easy to work with. The hosts really thought of everything you might need while staying at their home! Thank you!!

Exquisite place

Our family of 13 spent 4 wonderful days at the amazing Big Blue. The setting was beautiful. The property had wonderful features such as a patio with firepit which we enjoyed at night and a deck in the backyard where we enjoyed our morning coffee and watched the sunset. The house was very comfortably and remarkably well stocked with all we needed, including everything we needed in the kitchen. Communication with Michael was timely and complete. Could not have asked for anything better!

Family Reunion at Big Blue

This place gets a five only because the scale does not go to six. All of us were amazed at the house, amenities and of course the location right on the beach. A huge expanse of fine grain sand to wander on the public beach just over a small sand dune at the back of the property. The view up and down the coast is spectacular. The accuracy of online listing gets a four just because there was so much more than we expected of useful household items. We did not need to buy anything other than food. The owner was very prompt in response to my questions. The neighborhood was peaceful at all hours. Overall, it could not have been better, in my opinion. Well done!
