The Sea & Sand on the breathtaking Manzanita / Neah-kah-nie beach

  • Beautifully renovated, mid century modern beach house steps from the ocean with best ocean and Neakhanie mountain views in Manzanita.

    Designed to bring a family together as well as provide private spaces. Main floor: great room with cathedral ceilings, wood burning fireplace with open, new kitchen and half bath; master suite with king bed and heated floors in the master bath. Downstairs: 2 bedrooms with queen size beds, bedroom with 2 full size beds & 1 single bed (bunk bed with single trundle bed that pulls out) and hall bath with floor heat; bedrooms all with beach & ocean views. Outdoor hot & cold hose bib which can be used as a shower, fire pit, lawn, patios and deck.

Best in Manzanita!

We’ve been coming to Manzanita for Labor Day for six years and this is the best place we’ve stayed. The location is perfect! Beach access is right across the street with amazing views, but far enough from the main drag to avoid crowds. The house is very comfortable and clean and checking in/out couldn’t have been easier. Would 100% recommend to everyone!

The view is fantastic! The home was clean and well cared for. The kitchen had all we needed: plates, glasses and pots and pans. Since we don’t all live in the same state it is really nice to find an inbetween house large enough for our whole family.

We were pleasantly surprised. Most beach houses are older and seem a little “worn.” This property has a wonderful view, great beach access, and nice modern upgrades. Very clean upon arrival. Comfortable, stylish furniture. We’ll be back.

Three women and two dogs had a wonderful relaxing time at the beach! The house was beautiful and the warm water on the outside hose to wash off the dogs after a romp on the beach was brilliant! What can you say, the view, the house, the town, it doesn't get any better. Thank you!

Front row ocean viewing

The views are even better than listed- of the ocean and the mountain. We lucked out with the weather and had sunshine in March. So wonderful! Such a comfortable home with excellent lighting and lots of seating options. The beach access is directly across the street and the town is a short walk away. I would love to come back!

Great house to watch the waves

It was stormy during most of our stay but that was ok because we could watch the ocean in comfort through the huge front windows. When there was a break in the weather we could be on the beach in no time. There were 5 of us and we were comfortable with the 3 ocean facing bedrooms so we didn’t even need to use the bunk bed room. We made most of our meals in the well stocked kitchen but there were some good restaurants and shops in the nearby town. This was our third stay in this house and we hope to return!

Beautiful property

Beautiful house with a stunning view. Well appointed, clean, great location. Would note that the elevation changes/stairs in the property were challenging for the senior citizen in our party. On the main floor, there is a short step down from the main level to a hallway to access the bathroom and the stairs to the basement. There are grab bars available, so the steps are safe, but were nevertheless unexpected and as a result, there were some stumbles. We had a great time cooking, enjoying the beach, and relaxing on the sectional watching the waves. Such a great trip.

Perfect Location

I stayed at this property with a few friends and family members to celebrate my sister’s birthday. It was easy to find and a perfect location! There was plenty of space in the house for all of us and two dogs. It fits 4 cars in the driveway and is the best spot to walk across the street to the beach. It has a beautiful view of the ocean and the weather was great! It’s close to town and it was easy to run to the store to get a few groceries we needed. We enjoyed making s’mores out by the fire pit and had a wonderful time. I will definitely try to book another stay here again sometime!
