The beds were clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the airy feel of the whole house. There was lots of natural light plus comfy seating for all. The kitchen had all the utensils and dishware we needed. We took advantage of the provided beach towels and toys and spent many hours relaxing on the sunny back deck. The location of the house was GREAT... one block from Laneda Ave and 2 blocks from the beach. The Little Apple grocery store was just steps away. All in all, a great stay at the Yellow Abode, and we will be back!

Great location

First time in Manzanita, and we decided we will be back again next year! We fell in love with the little town and easy access to the uncrowded beach. The house was small but fulfilled our needs. We loved the large deck. The kitchen had everything we needed as far as utensils and pots/pans, etc. Our kids were completely amazed with the record player and played records all the time. The location was wonderful, just a short 5-minute walk to the beach. Also, just a few doors down from the little grocery store. We appreciated that we could bring our little dog along with us. The dining table only seated 4 so we couldn't all sit and eat together. The shower is very small. It's impossible to shave your legs in it. The locks on the bathroom doors were not functioning properly. The green couch had a really bizarre odor to it. All those things were not a big deal though and would not deter us from staying again.

Cute and great location

Being walkable to Laneda with the restaurants and shops and only a short walk to the beach was awesome. The layout of the house is great for a family. It would be less desirable if shared with another couple as the bathroom is a jack-n-jill style with pocket doors (not much acoustic separation). The kitchen was well-equipped. The house is pet friendly which was apparent with the stray pet hair floating here and there. The beds were decently comfortable, the pillows were a bit lumpy but otherwise just fine. We didnt use the 2nd parking space, but it seems like it would have been tricky to manuever a vechile into that space. Overall the stay was quite comfortable.
