"We had a great time at the cabin! The cabin was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. In the morning, I took the pontoon fishing (Pike, Bass and pan fish) were plentiful. Still trying to catch the wiley walleye …. Even caught fish off the dock. In the evening time, we would go for a sunset cruise. Josh was easy and great to work with. Thank you for letting us enjoy your property."

"Shady Nook was the perfect home and location for our bi-annual family reunion. Our group of 26 included ages 10 months to 83. We were all very comfortable and even had empty beds! Shady Nook feels more like borrowing a friends house than a rental. The kitchen was very well stocked and even included many of the spices that we needed. The back porch is amazing and became our favorite hang out spot.We used the loft over the garage for two families with small children for the quiet. The loft does have a kitchenette, toilet and sink and there is a full bathroom in the garage convenient for showering. There are three bedrooms on the main floor which was great for our less mobile family members.We had not visited Pickerel Lake before and were shocked by how clear and clean it was. We rented a pontoon and took many trips around the lake. There was also a fishing group that had very good luck every time they went. Having access to tons of inflatables and yard games kept us all busy. We spent hours floating on the maui mat. Perfect place for large groups!"
