This last stay was my third at this hotel. It’s greatest advantage is it’s location. But every stay has been marred by surely staff, rooms that only have amenities for one person when they had been payed for double occupancy, no drinking water in the room, broken aircon and badly managed breakfasts. Stay if the location and price suits you but expect less than decent service.

Well located hotel, no frills, spacious and comfortable rooms. There are many things in the room (especially bathroom) that are either a bit broken or missing (the handheld bidet was clearly missing, the shower and the washbasin drains were a bit clogged up), but overall it doesn’t affect the stay too much. Initially it took some time to get things in order, for instance the AC and Tv remote both were not working, and it took them more than an hour (and me to go down twice) before they finally came up with me and finally replaced the batteries. But otherwise for just a night or two nights stay it’s quite decent!

I had a wonderful stay here! Location is optimal for exploring Maputo on foot. The room was large and spacious, with a large and comfortable bed, air conditioning, electric kettle, tea and coffee making supplies, a mini fridge, a flatscreen television with international news and entertainment channels (roughly half in English), ample luggage storage, an electronic safe, an excellent buffet breakfast with many local and international options like fried and boiled eggs, fresh fruits and veggies, breads and spreads, beans, cooked meat dishes, etc. (7am-10am), friendly and helpful staff, a full gym with cardio machines, cable machines and free weights (I really loved this aspect and even used the gym to train for 2 hours after checkout!), and a conference centre. The hotel is very new and modern, but there is a bit of water damage in some of the rooms (ceilings and baseboards namely). I am not exactly sure where this came from. The only negative aspects I can think of were that the water pressure in the shower was rather low and there were mosquitos in my room the second night, but I don’t think this is necessarily the fault of the hotel. Free luggage storage is offered at this hotel if you need to hold your luggage after you checkout. There are many shops, restaurants and cafes nearby. Super Spar is about a 15 minutes walk from the hotel. Overall, I had a great stay here, and for the price, I was impressed with all that the hotel offered! Thanks for a lovely stay.

Starting a week before my stay, I tried to get in touch with them — via hotels.com, with the number listed in hotels.com, the number on the hotel’s own website, the email listed on their website, and the contact form on their website. An agent with hotels.com also tried to reach them, without success.

Toilet leaked. Reported on arrival and every day thereafter but was never fixed. Area surrounding toilet and shower very wet and slippery. Had to use both bath towels and mat which left no clean towels to dry off with. Shortage of towels in hotel, late afternoon delivery and very early pickup of soiled towels in the morning. Sheets too small for mattress. Mattress sagging badly, easy to slide off. Pillow very, very hard.

La chambre de luxe était spacieuse et moderne, avec coin salon. Grand lit King et décoré avec goût. Bonne pression dans la douche et douche pluie. Très bel hôtel. Seul bémol: les employés sur place semble travailler plus de 12h (de nuit). L’accueil à l’arrivée le soir était un peu froid mais on peut comprendre s’ils travaillent beaucoup trop.

I came about two hours early for check in time, but still got immediately a room without extra costs. Staff is friendly and very ready to help you with everything. However, no free airport shuttle available.

Please do not book this hotel. I had a very bad experience staying there on the 8-10th. The first they gave me didn’t look clean at all; the rug by the bed was ripped, wallpaper falling apart, I mean, I could go on and on. I had to for a different room in which they charged extra 1000 mt. The next morning when I went for the breakfast, the waiter told me that the restaurant didn’t have coffee or tea. I was shocked. I then asked the receptionist where I could get a cup of coffee, she suggested a a different hotel near by. Do not west your money, you will not have hotel experience. Thank me later
