"Beautiful property with everything you could need. We stayed in one of the treehouses with a fabulous ocean view; 5 star option in Tofino, Would highly recommend the Wildlife Boat Tour on the sounds. Opportunity for the staff to be more helpful; felt like we were inconveniencing them when ordering food or asking a question. Not what I would expect for £400 a night."

"We had a wonderful stay at Black Bear Guesthouse! The location is great, and the suite was beautiful, super clean, and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It’s within walking distance of beautiful Chesterman Beach and also close to grocery stores and everything you may need. We stayed for three nights with our two daughters and really enjoyed our time there. This was our third visit to Tofino, and this stay made it even more special. We would definitely love to come back again! ❤️"

"The property/suite is on the larger side, with high ceiling. The facilities are adequate but getting dated and a bit sparsely furnished and decorated. The bathroom is clean and very well maintained but on the smaller side and need more cabinets and counter space. The walk in shower with curtain is typical Canadian pre built Vinyl/PVC shower stall but functional. The location is on a very quiet area and has easy access to the main roads and paths to nearby beaches and parks . Access to the property was easy, thanks to the property manager, who showed us the location, and basics of the facilities. We booked the Heron King suite on the lower level and it is a part of a multiplex of other suites, so it may get noisy depending on renters on the second level suites. Parking is adequate and with easy access to the unit. The unit is NOT a high end luxury accommodation but can be home away from home depending on the unit renter needs and wants."

"Such an amazing place. Perfect for 4 people, each having own bed( 1 had sofa bed in games room with doors) Kitchen, dining area, hot tub were so great, and the yard, path to the water, and the BBQ and outdoor eating area really made our week. Tofino was a fantastic choice with so many activities; walk around town, great seafood, hikes, beaches to walk on, kayak tour at McKenzie Beach surf and SUP rentals, Meares Island Big Bear Trail Rain Forest Hike, driven to it by Vince at Meares Island water taxi, distillery and brewery tastings, and the super Tofino e-bike ride to Ucluelet and back , thanks to Dave at Tofino E-bikes.We loved everything!"
